probably not yandere exactly, but with the latest chapters it feels like ralsei's pretty emotionally volatile. he's basing his ENTIRE existence and purpose on whether or not susie and kris like him, and I feel like that could take a huge left turn at any moment. I can see a future where ralsei ends up becoming a villain, or at least a boss fight

there's something odd about having it so blatantly laid out that we, the player, are not controlling kris. we control the SOUL which occasionally controls kris, and we make choices on their behalf and choose to engage with other people how we want to, while they suffer the consequences. yet they can force us out and act independently on occasion, and they choose when we regain control.

makes me think about the choices you make at the very start of chapter 1, when you're designing your vessel. using the same SOUL to make choices for this creature-to-be, before its discarded and we're put in control of kris, who really is just another vessel. and as the chapters went on it seems like kris is regaining control over themselves and can influence our choices, admittedly in more subtle ways. fun to think about.
