After the Fall kit update 2! I can’t stop seeing useful junk and steeling offcuts from my friends kits. I found a hubcap on the side of the road covered in break dust, grabbed it, cleaned it up (break dust is not something you wanna risk inhaling), added padding and a handle and now I have a shield/junk buckler type thing. My arm additions make me really happy, and I guess we’ll see how my shoulder pieces go… Everything still looks waaaaayyy too clean… hmmm. There’s not enough time!

Tomorrow, I leave for Bicolinne
I have prepared for my trip to Bicolinne tomorrow, and I leave with rebarapscallionelivoss, Padrig, and Casval(passing-through-red-comet). Saga, unfortunately will not be joining us. We have all recieved our summons, but Saga hasn’t.
Perhaps that is for the better though? Saga has been a very important person in my life. She was the reason I had found a place to live in Reba, and she is the glue that holds us all together. Were she to come along to Bicolinne... who knows what trouble she would get in to?
do I feel that she can not handle herself? absolutely not. She is very independent and is more than capable of handling herself, but as any of her other close friends would say, we just don’t want to see her in a position where she will get hurt.
I was nervous to leave for Bicolinne at first, but now I have come to accept it. I know that what I do there will be for a greater good, protecting those who can’t fight, protecting those I care about, and showing the world that I am more than capable of being more than just a stable boy.
After I finish my chores with the horses, I always lay awake at night, looking to the stars, wishing to be a knight one day. Bicolinne may be the answer to that wish, and I intend not to miss out on it.

On Glory
About a month ago, I had the pleasure of meeting the subject of many a terrifying story while I was on the front lines. Her name is Glory.
Glory, for those of you who do not know,  was the leader of the Crimson Justice, and also had ties with the Bounty Hunters guild within the area of North Colebrook. During the bone war, she was turned in to a Greater Ghoul... which made her one of the most terrifying creatures under Zardon’s control. I never saw her in this form myself, but I had heard many a tale.
Rumor has it that she was able to turn in to a black ichor, and ooze through cracks in doors and walls. It was also said that she had three rows of teeth, and that her eyes would glow red at night, and meeting this gaze would paralyze you on the spot. Of course, most of this was just tales spread from North Colebrook to the front lines, so I am unsure what exactly is truth and what is just a tall tale.
I have my reservations about her. I am aware that she stood trial for her actions as a greater ghoul, and had paid her dues... but something still never sat quite right with me. Rumor has it that Greater Ghouls still have control over their own mind... so how much of her... genocide was her own doing, or the will of Zardon?
In any case, She had shown up in North Colebrook. The way she composed herself.... it was not one of someone who is seen as a monster, but that of a person who is proud of their work. As a member of the guard, I had approached her to find out the reason for her visit, and it had to do with Cultists in the area attacking innocent people. From the wary look she gave me, I must have had a telling look on my face that I did not trust her. That being said... she was not what I expected at all. In fact, when I was escorting her to the guard barracks, the first thing she said to me when we were alone was, “So, you’re not going to stab me in the back are you?”
I feel that at that moment, my reservations about her actions as a Greater Ghoul had melted away. I had the strong feeling that it may not have been her will to attack the people of North Colebrook, but that of Zardon. However, She is not someone you want to come across in the dark forest late at night, greater ghoul or not.
Having spent hours with her on missions and working together to find more information about the cultists, I feel that the creature she once was is long dead, and left behind is a person who regrets her actions, and has payed for her crimes.

Explosions are painful
On Saturday, we were tasked with clearing goblins out of an abandoned alchemy lab, and the lab was rigged to explode. A goblin had popped out of a trap door and pressed the button. I had 10 seconds to leave, but a fellow Kaylethian named Ingrid, and I did not have time to make it out, so we jumped in to one of the trap doors.
I woke up to find the outpost surrounding us, and all I could hear was ringing. Either Kayleth was watching over us, or we were just really lucky.

Preparing for my trip to the Outpost
I have packed a tent for myself this weekend. As I had heard some troubling news in regards to someone I usually tent with. I had heard rumors through the guard about some of the actions taken by The Band of The Hawk last month... I am not impressed with Griffith. He made a poor judgement call as a leader, and if I see him this weekend, I plan to have a very long conversation with him in regards to this whole matter.

If Baron Gregorin told you that you could have any one thing/favour from him, no restrictions, what would it be?
I would ask to become a knight in his court, or to become a Master General for his guard.

The Church of Clovis
On one of the very frequent nights I cannot sleep, I have decided to spend my time in the church of Clovis, looking up at the open sky above, and counting the stars. Clovis made so many holes in the curtain, that it is impossible to count them all. It speaks to the love that Clovis had for Fiona. The words Mother Y’sshai have told me come to mind; “In Defense of All, Accountable in Love.”
I think I can go back to sleep now.
