Cedric [From Shadows into Light @megan-karau]

The adopted son of Denzel Yammamoto Cedric was abandoned as a child to be left for dead due to an illness he had. Denzel found him one day and was able to nurse him back to health. Because of his illness he was a sheltered kid and doesn't have any friends. And although he has family, there are parts of his interest that he did wish to be appreciated that his family can't provide. Cedric is a shy and socially awkward kid. He gets made fun of sometimes from his brothers for being more emotionally sensitive than most are. He instinctively hides a lot. A big time nerd who enjoys art and books.

As Celeste says in her song “Special Girl,” she was “raised by silent mouths and tight-shut eyes.” She believes Thomas can save her from her rich but distant parents and so stays regardless of whatever qualms she has privately. The more popular crowd she’s emerging into both thrills and frightens her–she wants love, above all else, but is not quite sure whether it is worth sacrificing her identity to obtain it. As of late, her loss of control has turned her disconnected and aggressive, although not without being followed with terror and regret.

New Madeline Ref for Artfight!

Madeline is from a long line of Dreamwalkers(Starborn). Their job is to help people who are captured and enthralled by The Forest in their dreams. (The Forest comes to people to make them despair. Coaxing them to give up on life or anything else)

During one of her missions she failed to help her own best friend out of one of these times, thus losing her to suicide.  Since then, the guilt of that time caused her to develop a saviour complex in hopes to make up for what happened, hoping to override her guilt. She wants to help people, but she is not ready to accept that she still needs help herself. 

She became prone to being emotionally drained very quickly. Making her not being able to form any more longer lasting connections, which was not helping her feelings of loneliness

Later she met Cedric in one of her dreamwalks. He lived far away from her and didn't seem to have a social media so they could only speak through dreams. He reminded her a lot of her friend and it was the push she needed to become close to someone again.....

UPDATE

Haii I'm back after a looong time

The plot of this story was a struggle to find again. I started to loose interest in the original plot because it was getting to hard for me to progress it without losing my mind.

So after a while, praying, and asking friends, i have updated the premise and the synopsis!

Expect more changes to come soon! (I also might archive some character stuff if it no longer suits the current plot. So be read for that)

So far the overall changes are: - Madeline and her brother are dreamwalkers - The Forest is now a dream entity - The best forms and whatever only exist in the dream realm

Be on the lookout for more changes as i continue writting!

don't worry, folks. just found an absolutely breathtaking couples picrew because even though these characters never interacted in canon, they deserve to kiss. as a treat. to me. the fact that the creator chose to use such a detailed style while still giving a wide variety of options for things is absolutely mind-blowing.
