Hi, everyone! My name is Hitomi. I've learned all I can from my father and his dojo, and now I'm ready to continue finding my own adventure. "I'm going to keep proving myself to you, dad! I can do this!"

"My father owns a dojo in Germany, and that's where I was raised. My mother thought it would be better for us to live there." The glasses were gently pinched between her fingers as she traveled to her tiny fridge. A carton of Orange Juice accompanied her back to the table. "It's not a matter of 'no love'...I actually have spent a lot of time there recently for my tournaments." Juice was poured into the paired glasses, and one pushed before Iori. "You can smoke, if you like. I have a window open." Hitomi pointed to the cracked window above the sink before her fingers wound around her fork so she could set to work on her breakfast. She wasn't exactly a fan of smoking but since Iori had asked, she couldn't help but comply. "So, Iori, what have you been up to? It's been a bit since our match."

"Then I'll be your Sensei." Hitomi grinned. "No commitment or annual fee; just training and sparring." Her arms folded daintily over her lap as she rocked a bit in her chair. The next round of students were letting themselves into the dojo; Hitomi was beginning to recognize their faces, though no names were ever exchanged between them. She wouldn't be in this town for long. It would soon be time to travel again, to find a new town and a new dojo to train in. "So, Seifer... Tell me about your scar." The words tumbled from her lips before she could stop them, but honestly the topic would have emerged eventually. It was hard to stop looking at the red mark on his handsome face, not because of ugliness but from pure curiosity.
“You really shouldn’t tease me, you know!” Hitomi laughed. She shook her head. It seemed like all the blond ever did. The girl turned in her seat, and watched him as he paced. She couldn’t help but notice the way he carried himself, his body language. She shrugged her shoulders. “It was just a suggestion.” “And maybe I would like to actually have a new friend, hmm?” She was her father’s daughter though. Perhaps being ‘the sensei’ was in her blood.

Hitomi felt the nervous energy and the eyes of the crowd on her as she stared with determination at Tifa. She had slipped up this day; it was part of the regime of a fighter to be prepared for an opponent at any time, and Hitomi had waltzed into her rival's bar without a second of hesitation. There were murmurs noting the damage done to the city's beloved bar and the surge of guilt that bubbled up from Hitomi's stomach was almost overwhelming. True, during Dead or Alive tournaments, the combatants were able to tear up malls and yards and parking garages without much concern...but this was a home and a haven. And Hitomi was responsible for the hole blasted into the side of the building. Slowly, she lowered her fists and folded them at either side of her hips. And she bowed, although her bones and muscles were screaming for mercy.
@barmaid-tifalockhart
Hitomi got to her knees, shaking her head as if that would make it clearer. She’d had worse damage done to her before this; This was only bruises and cuts and a knocked head. Heck, the last time they fought, Hitomi had had some cracked ribs and an assortment of other bones that had had her laid up for days. This was nothing.

The very air in the room shifted suddenly and the girl lifted her head, if only to watch as her opponent’s own energy coiled about gloved fingers and knuckles. Her fingernails scraped against the hardwood as she attempted to straighten herself enough to cross her arms in a block, managing to barely do so as the wave of energy slammed into her. Everything about her was blue, shining blue, crackling blue. She had the vague feeling of flipping, feet over head, across the floor of the bar. Like she was floating. And then, it was warm, and the air smelled like city, and Hitomi was in a crumpled heap on the ground outside of the bar. She peeled her arms apart, gritting her teeth as it caught where her skin was raw and bleeding from her futile defense.
Perhaps Tifa did have some tricks up her sleeve rather than the materia she treasured. Hitomi stood on trembling legs, steadying her breathing as she got back into her fighting stance. Her boots stomped the ground to be rid of the tremors. She would find the fight in her.

Hitomi smiled brightly, tamping down the strong surge of pride at the mention of her strength. She fumbled with her fingers discreetly before folding them neatly before herself. "Let's talk for now. I like to try to know my opponents before I really find out who they are with fighting."

ooc: gone and back again!
Time for apologies again, to all those I've been RPing with. I've been incredibly busy with work and real life events...I wasn't even able to hop on and say I was going to be gone for a few days. But, I'm back once more and the RPs will get started again. If I don't get to your reply, just message me, because I'm a bit scatter brained. I'm engaged now, though! So I guess we can use that as an excuse... :)

Work has been sucking rather hard lately. I am once again the flavor of the month for the workplace, so I’ve been ducking and dodging the barbs and rumors like an extra in the Matrix movie. But this moment brought a smile to my face. I was supervising the cashiers in the garden department yesterday—it was nice and sunny so we had four people out there and apparently they needed to be babysat—and a little girl no more than five ran up to me and tapped me on the wrist. “Hey there, honey, is everything okay?” I asked. She smiled up at me and said, “Ma’am, you have redhair.” “Yep! That I do!” “You look like Ariel. You’re really pretty.” And then she toddled off to find her mother again and I was left with a feeling like my cheeks were going to explode from all the smiling. picture of how red my hair is found here

The ravenette bit her tongue to refrain from cursing the girl out, she wasn’t one to use such language but if she was riled up enough, she would without a second thought. The trick the brunette had pulled on her was cheap but effective and she couldn’t let her think she had won by such a silly move—if she had thought she had won, Tifa would never hear the end of it.
Standing to her feet, she glared at her opponent before holding her hand out—a blue energy began to bundle within her as she gripped her fist tightly; bringing it back, she made a gesture of throwing, sending the energy slamming into Hitomi with as much force as she could muster. “—ugh!”

"It wasn't a problem, really. He became a very dear friend of mine during that time..." Hitomi shrugged her shoulders a bit before crossing her arms behind her head and leaning back. The memories that came to her at the slightest thought brought a smile to her lips. How many times had they spent training until the early morning until their strength gave and they were left only as talking forms curled on the forest floor? She remembered watching with both pride and envy when Ein had taken a spot beside her father as teacher. She tilted her head to once again regard the kunoichi across from her. "But that's the truth of it all, Kasumi-san."
The Search | @Sakura-Madoi
As the conversation quickly shifted into focus upon her brother she listened intently. She felt herself suck in a quick breath of air. Holding it tight into her lungs she could of choked on it.
She had known nii-sama since the second tournament? Her fingers clentched around the sheath of her wakizashi. He had been injured at that time too… her eyes stared intently at the girl. The girl seemed to know so much about her brother, and that concerned her…
Her delicate digits loosened. What was this girl to nii-sama…What did she know about him… Did she know of nii-sama’s title of leader to the clan… the questions ticked in her head almost like a bomb. The scarlet haired kunoichi did not dare to voice her questions, but simply went with that of a thank you, “I am greatful to you for taking care of Hayate-nii-san…”
Swallowing the lump in her throat staring carefully at the girl. The girl seemed to pose no true threat but in her world the biggest brightest smile could easily turn into that of a cold and wicked one.

fatalvalentine started following you
Hitomi couldn't help but startle when she saw a dark-haired figure following close behind her. Her fingers curled at her sides as she took a slow breath, calming herself as much as possible. "Can I help you sir?"

ooc: I'm going to get to my replies today! I decided to contract some sort of infection in my throat that's nearly swelled it shut, so I've been out of it for a few days. But, I'm here, and I'm back-ish, so time for those replies...

"I figured we could both have a concussion; s'only fair." Hitomi frowned at her as she rubbed the tender spot on the back of her skull from where she had early clipped a table. Oh boy, did it hurt, even more so to the touch. She was definitely going to have to treat herself to a potion after this one. True, thought, that the ankle grab had been a cheap trick. It wasn't proper form or style to do such a thing but Tifa seemed to be exception to all of her rules. She had to win. She had to experience her opponent's true potential, even if it had them both bruised and bleeding at the end of the bout.

@barmaid-tifalockhart

Satisfaction flooded her being as she heard the small yelp come from her enemy. Tifa was never one to be cold blooded but when it came to her brunette opponent, she couldn’t help it. Their past had been nothing but fighting. Hitomi had watched her being ganged up by a dozen or more ninjas and did nothing to help her leaving her no choice but to catapult her self off of a railing from a tall building and hope for the best. She didn’t think she could forgive someone as easily as that.
Slender digits suddenly gripped around her ankle however and thrust her to the ground, losing her balance, she hit the back of her head on the bar counter losing her vision for about four seconds. As soon as the blackness faded she glared at the woman and sat up holding her head. “Was that really necessary?!”
#nah we can pretend that Hitomi is like the hulk... XDD#kidding~#I actually sometimes have to search and make more gifs for this RP but it's so hard sometimes... haha

Hitomi attempted to ready herself as Tifa regained her composure. Her fist cocked back, ready to strike at the first movement her opponent made, though she was surprised when the woman sprung into the air once again. Her curious thoughts of whether or not Tifa would hit her head on the ceiling were thrown from her mind at the feel of a heavy boot meeting her spine, her body bending against it's will toward the floor. She grunted, teeth clenched as she struggled to keep her balance, fingers swiping at the hardwood. The same blasted boot swung out and clipped her at the ankles, taking her feet right out from under her. Hitomi yelped as her elbows and knees hit the floor, hard, as she tried to catch herself once again. The musty scent of the dust and rubble filled her nose, dirtied the palms of her gloves. With another little cry, her hand shot out for Tifa's ankle and pulled, throwing the woman off balance as well.
@barmaid-tifalockhart
Hitomi reminded herself, if only for a moment, that she had not come into the bar to fight. She had come to find a meal and directions out of the Slums. Destroying someone’s hard-earned property had not been on the day’s agenda.

Still, she couldn’t back down now, not when Tifa was ready to retaliate, full strength and full speed ahead. “Then let’s go!”
She readied herself once more, fists raised and legs set.
