I see Gizli Bahçe has been cancelled, ugh. That's why I didn't bother watching it yet, even though I love Murat Yıldırım so much. He's such a phenomenal actor and deserves so much better. I really hope he gets a good project next time.
Fellow dizi addicts know it's a cutthroat world in Dizi Land. They really don't hesitate to cancel a show after only a few episodes with low ratings. As someone who watched nothing but Turkish shows for well over 2 years, I definitely see that the industry desperately needs some fresh ideas though. Turkish shows keep getting more and more popular all over the world, as they should because they are infinitely better than anything on American or Western tv, so I hope they can get fresh ideas without catering to an international audience that's used to seeing their own shows, because that would absolutely make them lose their magic, especially for those of us who've been watching for years.
Anyway! I was already mad because they moved Rüzgarlı Tepe from a daily to weekends, so ugh.
