The Canopy
The Canopy A young boy and girl the ages of 6 and 8 grew up down the road from each other since they were 3 and 5. Their parents have been best friends since high school and recently came closer due to work transfers. Growing up and hanging out everyday, they were inseperable, you couldnt rip them apart no matter how hard you could try. The young girl loved playing marriage with her friend. Everyday after school, they would meet in her backyard under the canopy and get married every day. The parents thought it was adorable and always loved watching the ceremony. As the years went on, the ceremonies became less and less. New friends were made and time drifted them apart. Now they are at the age of 15 and 17. Each of them have their own lives and havent talked in years. One day they happen to stumble upon each other in the hall and glance at each other for a moment but lose focus from their friends and dont get a chance to say anything. Time continues forward and the young man has graduated snd moved onto college and the young lady a senior now. Each of them have started to date some new people and continue on with their lives, with the ceremonies as distant memories The young man a junior in college visiting his family for the holidays snd the young lady a recent graduate, working as a server at a local restaraunt. Sadly both are currently in relationships where they are stuck, poor woman is absused every night and the young man used for his wealth. Young man offers to take his family out for dinner to celebrate his recent degree and continuation to his bachelors and they stumble upon the local restaraunt. And lo and behold guess who becomes the waitress for the table? The young lady. As she walks up to take their drinks, she gets this feeling like she should look up from her pad and make eye contact. As she looks up and makes contact with the young man, the young man looks at her and as they lock eyes. Its as if their lives flashed before them, the memories of all the ceremonies, the endless days of spending each moment with each other. Every day of being inseparable. And they are speechless and unable to focus on anything around them. Everything becomes non existent. The parents notice this and giggle and give the young man a jab and their world snaps back to reality. A moment passes and life continues with the order. And they continue with their night as the young man and woman make eye contact throughout the night but unable to say anything. Their dinner finished and the table cleared, the young man goes to pay and prepares to leave. As he goes to pull on the door, something hits him and tells him to turn around. As he closes the door, he decides; "Ive got to say hi". He turns around and starts looking around for this young woman but is unable to find her. During dinner, the young womans boyfriend who happens to be a cook there saw their interaction and had to step in and handle the situation. He escorted her out and they left, not to be seen again that night. As the woman lies helplessly on the floor unable to have the strength to move or fight back, she remembers a glimpse of the handsome man she made eye contact with from the restaraunt and shes reminded of all those moments they shared. As she starts to remember, her strength begins to build up and her courage becomes louder. She finally stands up and takes the chance to run out and keeps running and running until she reaches her parents. As she runs inside, she notices everyone is out back under the canopy and she spots a familiar figure. Crying and barely able to keep herself together, she just wants her Dad to hold her. As she runs out back, she's greeted by the young man and his family while they are gathered together. Out of instinct she runs and hugs the young man crying and crying telling him everything that has happened to her and how much she has always loved him and wishes she said hi in the hallway. Her parents confused and her father getting more and more upset while the young mans parents are already on the phone with the police. The young lady finally stops talking and crying and just holding on tightly never wanting to let go. The young man grabs her face and wipes away her tears and lets the young lady know "I'm sorry I never said Hi either and im sorry I let you go through this pain, you will never have to go through another ounce of pain again in your life". In the exact spot they used to have their ceremonies day in and day out, the young man kisses this beautifully perfect young lady and from that moment on; neither of them doubted their memories, their love or their experiences together. Few years go by and they are engaged and waiting to be married. Everyone is waiting and the young bride is waiting for her queue to walk down the asile. Young man nervous and excited waiting in the spot hes been in hundreds of times waiting to say I do for the final time under the canopy. The music begins to play and the younf woman all dressed in white and walking with the brightest glow you have ever seen towards the young man she has walked to hundreds of times. As they hold each others hands standing next to each other, the parents are reminded of the days they witnessed this day in and day out and what true love can do when time is not relevant. And with the final words, "I have loved you from the moment I said I Do when we were 6 and 8 years old. I will love you and say I do until we can longer say it anymore. You are my sun, my moon and my world. I love you as strong as this canopy. I do" the young bride and groom kiss and walk under the canopy for the final time into their forever after.

What is valuable to you?
Time for me is the most valuable thing we have to offer and receive. We spend a majority of our day at work or asleep. Than the small part of the day we are free, we are busy with kids, errands, cleaning, etc. How much time do we truly have to offer someone when we meet them? We always move forward in life thinking "that was a waste of time". Yet we take it for granted and give it away so carelessly. We are trapped in this pendulum that is swinging yet we refuse to stop it. Time is irrelevant when death is inevitable, yet we neglect that time is everything for us. We are on this earth for x amount of time, why not spend it wisely? Most of us will choose our kids or family as our valuable, but without time; we can't appreciate our kids or family. We choose who we talk too, who we hang out with, who we invest into; but we don't take into account the other person isnt spending the same amount you are. Life is about give and take, but it has to be mutual and you can't always give out more time than you have. There will come a time when you will have nothing more to give because no one has given you their time. So at the end of the day in my mind, time is the most valuable while also the most carelessly used.

Alone
I always have those moments randomly where I will wake up in the morning and feel alone. Alone to the world, alone to myself and alone to everyone. Initially its peaceful, no worries about anyone or anything. No stress, no care in the world. Longer I stay awake in that moment, more I dont want to be alone; more I want someone to see me. Someone to worry, stress or care about. I want to wake up and feel wanted by someone, to feel needed in someones life and not just an option when it's convienent. I want to be a thought it someones head first thing in the morning and right before they fall asleep. I put effort into people over and over and over just to be disappointed by something. Am I expecting too much or am I expecting too little? How do I get to that point with people who want to hear my voice, want to feel my touch, or just feel my precense. What's it going to take to experience what everyone else seems to be experiecing. What more do I have to do? Ive changed so much these past few years that ive become someone I'm proud of. Yet it doesnt feel good enough for anyone. Someone open my eyes to my potential and show me I'm perfect the way I am.

What is love?
So Love, what is my definition? Love has become a word so overly used that it's lost its purpose and meaning. What is love anymore? Do people even mean it anymore when it's said? Can you believe them when they do say it? Love has evolved into the primary "Lust aspect". Lust is so sought after that it's forgotten it's just a phase in every friendship/relationship. Once the Lust feeling is lost, people feel as if they arent compatible anymore. So the first thing people do is bail, "Oh this isnt working out, I don't love you anymore, and the infamous cheating". People consider Love to be an emotion, feeling, and an expression. But what if it's much simpler, just forgotten? Love is an action. It's decisions on a daily. It's memories never forgotten. It's an action that never siezes. It's 365 days of the year, it's 8760 hours a year, and it's 525600 minutes a year. It's a daily battle that you continuously push to prove to your partner, friend, and family. Once you're truly in love, you do anything for that person. You will drop everything and anything to make sure that person smiles, even for a moment. It's giving them the shirt off your back to make sure they are warm, even if it means you're cold in the end. The action is reciprocated for you as well. It's never ending and always evolving. If you're observant, and or spiritual. You will see and feel that glow, that presence. If you're truly in depth with yourself, you will feel such a glow about that person and how it is always shining bright. That in the end, their light cancels out your darkness; and vice versa. In the end, Love is an action, it's a daily reminder, it's a daily effort and ultimately... It's always evolving every second of every day

Our world is a fallen beauty crying,
We are but the pieces holding the fragments of life,
Everyday we live the more we add onto the dying,
Each day we die we're living more in rife.
A man dreams of a family,
A woman dreams of a family,
But each man chooses the opposite to fit in the cracks of the mirror,
And each woman tries to shape the fragments of life,
Endless cycle of love and hate is clear,
Then why do we fall as so many pieces together in strife

Your life has started off as a rollercoaster not knowing if you're up or down. When the time comes and you're finally up and you're happy there is a corkscrew about to twist things around in your life. Is there ever a moment for you to be happy and relax from all the pain? It has come to the point of creating my own ride and I will succeed because of this feeling and my intuition

There comes a time when a shell is released to a new one, during that period everything is released and visible to whoever sees it. Do you accept it or deny it? That is the question you should ask yourself when showing your true form to the person you least suspect. My time came and has gone, I am ok with it for now.

Life is an adventure, one we must explore and experience heartache and suffering.. But once we have aged nicely, we will experience the love and compassion at the top of our journey and be forever thankful for the memories we have shared throughout time.

Is the world moving or are staying still? Our lives move and rotate around the earth, but have we thought about the earth rotating to us? We view things with such simplistic manners we forget of the beauty we're looking at. The grass, dirt, trees, flowers, buildings, and the sky.. are just few things we don't see with beauty but with something we wish to use for personal gain.

Love is a word we have created to feel for someone, why is it we have to call it something? Why can't we just live and be happy and not have to add titles to everything we do? Titles create chaos and chaos creates war, war will always be apart of our lives if we continue to add titles to every thing we touch.

I see the world with such beauty but my actions give it such destruction, why do I act with this charade? I act to fit in with the world, but it is the world which should fit in with me. I am who I am and have accepted the pure reality. Will there be others to accept me, I have yet to meet these people but is very close to finding them.
