Mammon character critique and redesign

These redesigns are based on Vivs original intentions for the seven deadly sins. That being circus themed princes of hell.

Do I think I’m a better designer then viv? Yes.

I'mma be real, I've always hated the christmas tree silhouette. It wouldnt be nearly as tasteless if he was the only plus-sized character to get this sort of body non-conforming dress up, but Adam gets it too, and just makes it seem like the show is too pussy to draw some proper rolls.

Why the fuck is he a spider? Why is he Australian if his Aesthetic is clearly based on the American dollar? Whats with the pointless asymmetry, what does that add to the character? Why do the dollar signs look like an after thought?

I understand he looks far more simple compared to his source, but honestly, thats a good thing. I was tempted to give him clown makeup, but that would be encroaching too far into Fizzes look + white just doesnt fit this colour palette.

More unique face, silhouette, outfit and colour palette, youre welcome.

With how he represents greed, and thus capitalism, I think he'd change outfits often to simulate "fast fashion".

Bet he eats gold to keep it safe, based on the creation myth and cultural figure, called Tiddalik from Gunnai Kurnai culture. I mean, if you're gonna make him Australian, you gotta at least TRY.

I actually had been holding onto her for a while because of the human outfit but after a few Pinterest searches landed on the beachy-summer vibes. I might make a few tweaks in the future but who came out perfect was her demon design and fit omg ateee.

I will make a point to include a star in all her outfits because she’s a superstar aaaahh so clever anyways that’s all for now!

People who are severely drunk cannot consent and the guy who Stolas was dancing with was sober unlike Stolas who was so drunk he couldn't even walk. Combine that with the BTB guy knowing Stolas was drunk because he was watching him prior to asking him to dance and you have an incredibly gross situation that's portrayed as a positive thing and I fully believe the only reason why this barely got backlash is because most people in the critical community dislike Stolas."

Anyone else a little disappointed with Leviathan and Belpehgor's designs?

Edit: something I forgot to say is if any of you guys like their designs, that's great! I can see why people like these designs and I'm not trying to make anyone hate them or change their opinion. It's definitely more of a person taste for me and we can discuss why we may like/dislike something without fighting

I wanna make it clear that I don't think there terrible designs and I think most of us excepted that there not really gonna be accurate to their orignal descriptions, but I can't help but still feel slightly disappointed with what we got

I think my main problem with them is how they share the same problems I have with Mammon and Beelzebub'a designs, and it's that they kinda just look like regular sinners rather then 2 of the 7 most powerful demons. I also think they don't really do a good job hinting to their sins, like Belpehgor does have a bit of an edge due to how we always see her sleeping but that's about it, Leviathan is worse cause there are no hints to her being the sin of envy (I think they were trying to do that with the monster head maybe hinting towards her secretly being envious of others but they don't really do a good job showing it)

There are things that I like about their designs. Their colours are nice, I love the idea of Leviathan having multiple heads like a hydra, the idea of making Belpehgor a sheep demon (since sheep's are usually associated with sleep) is cute, and I like how the markings on her neck are not only an eye opening and closing but may be a reference to the moons cycle. Again I wanna make it clear that I don't hate theses designs and I'm sure with time I'll warm up to them, I just with with the prince's they could've made them more unique and stand out from the sinners like Ozzie did compared to the Succubus and Incubus's

"I ship Millitz more than I ever shipped M&M or Stolitz, which is a low bar tbh; they had more chemistry and showed more care for each other in 1 episode than they have with their endgame counterparts the entire show. Also they look good together, especially with those flashback fits. They should at least f*ck sometime."
