First and foremost Matthew Patel is a theater kid. He's majored in theater and everything.

Naturally, he would be into anyone musically inclined.

Interested in figuring out what music his boyfriend is into. Might even let you play your music in the car.

Whenever he's in a car Matthew definitely sings through the entire ride.

Impressed when he finds out you sing in a choir.

Will probably insist on seeing you sing at practice if he's able to come.

Might get slightly competitive. Nothing too over the top. Like if your sing a song Matthew might sing along with you with a bit more enthusiasm.

Absolutely would love to go to concerts together. I imagine he's the type of guy to go all out on concerts of his favorite bands.

He definitely encourages you to listen to his music if it's outside your usual genres.

I imagine he listens to alternative rock aside from the theatrical type of music he usually listens to.

I made this account because the lack of trans specific /reader fics and head canons especially for character with smaller fan base.
