Although Fjolnir was born in northern Gyr Abania, he did work as a scout for the Ala Mighan resistance at 15 before being captured and sold as a slave to Garlean nobility.

Why the hell not, lets give it a go

The one that isn’t on there that Fjol does fit with Tiergan was he was also a former slave (although to the Empire)

So the time has come to dust off the book of this despicable individual and to add my two cents to the situation.

I was a member of the Bandee Pakshee when Cirina and Ashe joined the FC around two years ago. As with most scenarios with new individuals, things seemed perfectly fine, but overtime it was noticed the true nature of Cirina that eventually reached the officers and leadership. She was (and still is) a sociopath, an egomaniac, was verbally abusive to members both ingame and in the FC discord. Ultimately, she was kicked from the FC and Ashe left shortly afterwards, proceeding to recreate the Velvet Rose FC. And that leads up to today’s events.

My connection to the two? I originally had a good relationship with the two, and was not a person who wanted to see drama or people leave a group of friends. Indeed, I once considered them both friends. However, when I attempted to mediate or try to help through dialogue, Cirina refused to even humor any advice, even when the day of the officer discussions were going to take place. She just said she’d rather watch both sides burn, because at least the other side would also lose. She also threw Ashe under the bus as well.

It is unfortunate to see that things had to proceed up to where they are now, with so many being hurt by Cirina to actually come to light. I am at fault myself for not being vocal, but I’ve never been one follow the concept of cancel culture. I believe individuals can learn from their mistakes and should be given the chance to redeem themselves and, in this case, become a productive and welcome member of the Balmung RP community.

However this is not one of those cases, and this individual deserves the biggest red flag warning sign slapped on them. They are abusive and manipulative to those around them and will not hesitate to use you as a sacrificial lamb in order to defend or further their own goals. Avoid at all costs.

And if @cirinamalqirtruth wishes for the screenshot of the conversation where Cirina throws Ashe under the bus prior to her being kicked from the FC, I can provide it. I was able to get the screenshot on my phone, but the conversation was no longer accessible from my laptop discord app afterwards (which is unusual in itself.) If those naysayers do not believe my words, I can happily repost with the provided screenshot publicly.

“The Velvet Rose” is a major FC on the Balmung server that, for years, has been under the spell of a vile, manipulative narcissistic abuser. Please inform people who may be at risk, share this to everyone you know, and hold Cirina Malqir publicly accountable for her long track record of horrific abuse.

We’ll have many activities going on such as…

Beach Wrestling - Want to see how strong you really are? Come participate in beach wrestling run by beefy strong man Fjolnir Drakenbane, and the undefeated and fierce Rivette Moks. Oiled up abs strongly encouraged but not required. Winner gets 100,000 gil! 

Lalafell Trivia - Are you well versed in lalafell history and culture? Hang out at the bar where scholars from Lunar Rose Academy will quiz you on lalafell trivia! Who knows, you might even get small prizes for getting some questions right. 

Belle and Beau of the Beach - See a fashionable lalafell lady that catches your eye? See a lalafell man that’s rather dashing? Vote for them at the Belle and Beau of the Beach contest. This contest will be a silent vote and you can vote on anyone who is a lalafell for this contest (sorry tolls!). At a certain point in the night we will tally up the votes and the two winners will each get 50,000 gil. 

We will also have an open bar full of alcohol as well as some pulled pork sliders and other food options! We hope to see you there!

My friend @dellebecque​‘s  phone is a horrendous piece of shit that very much is trying to die, can’t type properly, malfunctions in new exciting ways all the time, and has needed replacing for well over a year.  Unfortunately, life does as it will and keeps throwing new expensive bills in my friend’s way.

Theme Song Challenge

So I was just tagged for this lil meme’ery, and I actually had to take a little moment to think of what songs would be best for my two best lads.

For Fjolnir, DEFINITELY deserves something of the most brutal, warrior-esque viking metal to fit both his physique and his prowess of hunting dragons in the far north.

Slightly more difficult was for my nerdy Sharlayan lad, Nejugo Jojugo. Being a proper explorer and navigator, as well as a member of the Maelstrom, this nerd deserves some Flogging Molly. He may be a book worm and knows his way around a wine bottle or two, but by the gods does he know how to properly drop a jig. (And I also headcanon Sharlayan having a dash of Irish in their culture, plus he’s part Limsan so yeah.)
