I maintain Florence (... Yk Florence + the Machine) should do an SGE song bc she's friends with Earl's mum and she follows Earl back on IG. She also did one for Snow White and the Huntsman and that had Charlize. See. Connections. I was thinking this morning about how they’ll, well no way to put it nicely, but how they’ll bully Dot in the movie.

In the books she’s often used as comedic relief whenever Sophie gives some comments about her weight, and Hester and Anadil even join in. But since Demi (Anadil’s actress) isn’t thin either, it would seem kind of counter-intuitive to have her insult Dot based off her weight.

Which makes me think— they’ll probably dig more into the other aspect Dot was insulted for, which is being too Good for a Never. Which I’m excited for! Because (if hypothetically we get a second movie) in AWWP she gets criticized for losing weight and trying to fit in, but the same can be said for her dressing up as acting more like an Ever than a Never.

It would also be great foreshadowing for the whole Maid Marian twist, that they could even bring in a little earlier to drive home the struggle Dot could have that she isn’t ‘Evil enough’ to be a Never, yet not ‘Good enough’ to be an Ever.

Identity crisis, we love to see it 👌

The scene in OTK where Tedros is in the genie's cave is just so fucking funny to me because like.....

Tedros, lost in Filip's gaze on a window ledge, he and the boy about to kiss.

Which is interesting (and the ultimate proof that Tedros is a Repressed Bisexual™) (seriously tho the fact that it's one of his secrets 😭😭 has anybody ever told him it's ok to be bi)

But like when you go back to the scene from AWWP that it references....

Like in canon the way that scene plays out is kind of VERY different from the way he remembers it in OTK, which is just vv funny to me like...

Okay yep I'm going to expand on my thought from yesterday

So as a kid, Sophie basically always believed that she was destined for something more than Gavaldon, some kind of royal life

And as a kid, Rhian basically always believed that he was King Arthur's son - that he was destined to be King of Camelot

Ultimately, both of them try for those childhood dreams, and both of them kind of succeed, under false pretences

Sophie got her dream of being a queen when she was engaged to Rhian (and before that, when she was engaged to Rafal), and Rhian got his dream of becoming King of Camelot

But Rhian could never have been the true king, or Arthur's true heir, and Sophie could never have been a true Evergirl princess

They both believed, with their whole hearts, that they had a great destiny, and in a way, they both succeeded - they were sort of both right

Was Rhian a good king? no. And was Sophie a good queen? ......maybe. but probably not tbh

One thing I think about, is how it's going to be really hard to sympathize for Sophie a lot of the time because the comments she makes and the good deeds she does aren't very good lol. I Just think it will be hard to bring her across as the good character for the first half of the film since she's really not!

it's true, but what she has on her side is being funny-terrible lmao so it's like, she sucks but in such a dramatic way that you can't help but like her?

It kind of interesting that the outfits they showed Agatha and Hester in aren’t really what they are gonna be wearing most of the movie, I wonder what the thought process behind that was

Probably "that shot looks cool and doesn't reveal much put it in" BHSJSKS like, if they're slightly misleading then it's not spoiling much ig. Also they look sick and they're action shots even if they're not rly consistent w the rest of their appearence throughout the movie lmao so.
