I keep my distance because it is the law of the Flame Tribe. As you know, we worship the God of the Flame. To honor our God, we keep a fire in the village burning at all times. This is a challenge, and so in order to keep in burning we have effected many laws. One such law directs us to avoid contact with outsiders as much as possible. This is why we live in isolation—and why I would prefer you quit prying. (Closed Rinkah associated with FERP.)

9. how many friends does your character want?
// uh… none, lol. At least, not any more than she already has (depending on what point in the timeline we’re at). Once she starts making friends, she’s not necessarily against making more, but she’d be fine if she never did, too.

2. what was the best thing in your character’s life?
// Well, that depends on who you ask. Rinkah would probably answer that the best thing to happen to her was when she realized how important the traditions and structure of the Flame Tribe was. And while that was a defining moment in her life, I’d say the best thing would be when she was taken captive by Nohr. As Corrin suggests in their supports, Rinkah’s capture was what led her to meet many of the people who had a profound impact on her life, helping her reach a mostly even balance between her aloofness and finding time to have fun.
8. how many friends does your character have?
// Not many. I’m not comfortable giving an exact amount since I haven’t roleplayed with any other Fates characters and I don’t know how their take on the characters will impact their relationship. Even within the Flame Tribe, though, Rinkah distanced herself from fellow members since most of her friends from childhood were killed in the attack, so the only friends she has are those she makes during Fates.
10. what would your character make a scene in public about?
// Rinkah doesn’t throw tantrums as a rule – she did in her rebellious phase, but not anymore. However, she will get angry and shout if someone is too forceful or pushy trying to get her to talk with them, though the flame usually burns out as quickly as it starts and she is quick to apologize. However, if someone is clearly doing something just to make her angry, she will often make a scene and perhaps even attack if provoked too far.
13. what does your character pretend or try to care about?
// Is the differentiation here supposed to be from what she legitimately cares about, or should I include that, too? Because honestly, Rinkah isn’t the type to pretend to care about much of anything. If she doesn’t care, she’s not going to try. However, she legitimately cares about upholding the traditions and rules of the Flame Tribe. As she develops into a more open person, she cares a bit more about her friends and if she sees them in distress, she might try to express concern even if she doesn’t particularly care about the problem (like if it were a minor scratch or if they’ve been insulted), but usually not.

Anger: Open Starter
Flame explodes from the club as its wielder violently swings it into the training dummy, sending its head tumbling away while its body begins to burn. Rinkah smirks at her handiwork, leaning on her weapon. She knew better than to attempt such violent – and risky – techniques on the battlefield, but in times like these where her frustration was overflowing, it was a great release for her emotions that would get her in slightly less trouble with the others. (She always had enough gold on hand to replace the training dummies she slaughtered, just in case.)
The sound of someone approaching from behind only spikes her anger as she whirls, holding her club threateningly as embers burst from it, just in case the person turns out to be an enemy – or, even if they’re a friend, to hopefully scare them away from bothering her.
