Last Call for Zine PDFs

Hello all!

I just want to say one final thank you to everyone who has supported this zine (both Volumes 1 and 2!) over the past few years. It has truly been an amazing experience and I could not be more grateful.

That said, we will be closing down the zine store as of the end of this month, January 31 2024. Afterwards, zine PDFs will no longer be available, and the social media accounts will no longer be monitored.

Thank you again to everyone, and hey- if you'd like a zine PDF (or an enamel pin!) you can still get them here.

January 2023 Update

Hello all!

It’s been nearly a year since our last update and what a year it’s been, but the most important news which I am pleased to say is that all preorders have finally shipped!

The issues with the hardcover books for the Tier 8 preorders were- complicated, and unexpected, to say the least- but I am glad to say that they are done and that the books came out beautiful.

The printer ended up sending us a few extra copies and so those have now been listed in our store, as well as a remaining handful of leftover books and merch. Please check it out:

Lastly I would once again like to thank everyone who helped to make this project happen. To the contributors who worked hard to make these zines happen, and to everyone who supported us through two amazing zines by preordering and signal boosting: thank you. March 1 2022 Update

Hello all-

It’s been a few months since our last update, and we just wanted to post a quick check in. The good news is, by now all preorders other than Tier 8 have been shipped!

The handbound books for the Tier 8 orders have unfortunately been delayed by several factors (there have been several printing issues, there’s a paper shortage on- which meant we had to change material partway through printing, cover supplies lost by UPS and had to be reordered, etc)

However, the books are still in progress! It is just going much, much slower than  we expected.

August 28 2021 Update

An update for y’all regarding the missing crate of zines: unfortunately UPS has confirmed it is definitely gone for good.

I am fairly annoyed but at this point it is what it is, and what matters is working on next steps. I have started on filing the insurance claim since it is not an insignificant financial loss, and I am waiting to hear back on that soon. I am also going to repackage the missing zines by pulling from the leftover zines + merch. I believe that there should be enough of everything but I need to count up to be certain, I know it's going to be tight on some things. If need be we will reorder any replacements that are needed.

We are also reordering the material for the handbound book covers, as at this point all of the material I had ordered is just... gone, somewhere in the Atlantic, I presume.

What all this means is that: -All UK packages, and some Europe packages (both contributor+customer) will be delayed, for obvious reasons -Leftover sales will be delayed, as I am pulling from the leftover stock to replace missing items, and I want don't want to risk double-selling anything

So, yeah. I wish I had better news for y'all; I am fairly frustrated with UPS because of this. Fortunately things are not so bad that we cannot recover from this! Thank you to everyone for your patience with everything <3 Everyone did such a wonderful job on the zine and I can't wait for everyone to finally get their copies <33

August 9 2021 Update

Hello all, we hope everyone is doing well! We just wanted to share a brief update regarding the status of the zine.

At this time, the majority of preorders have been packaged and shipped- wahoo! If you preordered Tiers 1-7 and your mailing address is outside of Europe, your preorder has definitely been shipped.

We were looking forward to opening leftover sales soon, however, we are currently dealing with a situation regarding a crate of missing zines. This crate was shipped from Mod Rel in the US on July 24, 2021, and was headed to Mod Lur in the UK. The crate contained all of the packages to be shipped within the UK (both preorders as well as contributor packages), and a handful of other packages to be shipped elsewhere within Europe. This crate also contained the covers for the hand-bound books, as Mod Lur was going to help with the detailing on the covers (and then send them back to the US to be added to the finished hand-bound books).

We currently have an investigation opened with UPS, and are hopeful that the crate can be located and delivered safely to Mod Lur. However, we are preparing for the possibility that if it is not found, what steps we will need to take to replace the missing items. As such, we are currently holding off on opening leftover sales, as we may need to pull from the leftover stock to replace the missing zines and merch. Rest assured, to all who preordered a zine, we will make sure that your order does reach you, eventually.

In the meantime, we thank you for your patience and for your understanding as we deal with this situation. Please look forward to more updates as soon as information becomes available.

🔥 Production and Shipping Update 🔥

Hello everyone! Thank you all so much for your patience and support for Flaming Like Anything Vol 2! We’re happy to update that the zines have arrived and they will be packed and shipped out! 

It will likely be a couple of weeks before all Tiers 1 - 7s are shipped and Tier 8 will be taking slightly longer as those are handbound books that are being made individually. Digital zine PDFs will be sent out by May 29th!

Hello, I know pre-orders are closed, but will there be extra copies available for purchase? If not, is there a digital edition? (I'm trying to create an archive of Good Omens zines to preserve them longterm.) Thanks!

Yes to both!

Our status as of today’s date (April 24 2021) is as follows: we received the proof copy of the zine a little while ago, and have been making edits to it. The zines are paid for, the printer is just waiting for us to finish up on edits (at this point it’s just down to nitpicky stuff- rearranging the cover slightly, some color corrections, going thru with a fine tooth comb for spelling errors, etc). Once that’s done we’ll send the revised version to the printer who should have the books to us in a couple weeks.

All other merch has been received and is ready to ship with the exception of the charms, which are still on the way.

Once we’ve got both the zines and the charms in, we’ll be sending out packages for Tiers 1-6. Tier 7 will be sent last- the handbound books are still being worked on (and are also waiting for the printing edits to be done with), and each package for Tier 7 will be shipped out as books are completed.

After that we will be opening the store back up for leftovers sales! At this point it will likely be in May or June. :)
