Honestly, to say that this video has aged poorly is simply an understatement… Not to be rude to Streamline, since it's clear she worked her ass out for this, but it's a total waste of time…Not to mention the amount of misinformation this has.

Personally, I think Shadow was also aware that Cosmo didn't know she was a spy. At least, not by choice. And considering how Cosmo reacted to hearing the conversation between Tails, Knuckles and Chris. I wouldn't be surprised if she thought she should have died at Shadow's hands. She even said it in her conversation with Cream after what happened. It's also sadder when she shouts Cream to leave, knowing Dark Oath could hear the conversation, which drove Cosmo to try to leave her friends, before she got intercepted by Tails and the others. Oh, right, I saw some Sonic X clips in Japanese on YouTube. These had Subs on English fortunatly.

This was the episode of Sonic X I watched last night, and I just noticed that when Shadow says "no one", he sings it! He actually sings the line! He's proud of his soon to be achievement at "saving" the universe from Cosmo.

Shadow also states that it's better for Cosmo to not understand why he's trying to kill her. It initially seems cold and cruel, but Shadow is actually doing this for everyone's benefit. He's motives are clear but no one knows why he's going to kill an innocent girl. Shadow is aware she's a spy and talks to her vaguely to protect Tails. He states over and over he doesn't want to harm Tails and for him to move aside.

This is Shadow's compassionate side seeping through, but it seems so twisted without knowing the facts.

I do love this character and understand why he conveys himself so vaguely.

Just curious, have you ever play any Persona game (Like Persona 3, Persona 4 or Persona 5) Or at least watched any anime of the Persona series?

Fun fact, I downloaded the Sonic costume for Morgana..without realising that it was for the Dancing game, and not the Regular Persona 5 game.

I haven't. Doesn't seem like my kind of game.

Although, there were times when Sonic did have fights against his friends in games like Sonic the Fighters, Sonic Battle, and the Sonic Rivals games. They were never personal or serious fights. But in Sonic Battle, most of them were friendly fights. (Except against Ultimate Emerl, but in the case of the latter, since he had no other option, which makes Emerl's death more tragic) (Also not counting other media such as Archie Comics). Although Tails was mind controlled by Iffrit in Rivals 2. Tho, that last one is under individual interpretation. However it more points to the fact that Sonic focused more on attacking the beast and evading Tails as best he could (At least the way I see it). Which is consistent in Sonic Prime, with Sonic not wanting to harm Nine more than once, even despite everything Nine had done (Sure, Sonic fought Nine in season 3, but it was more because to stop him), Sonic just can't bring himself to harm Tails, even indirectly through Nine. Since to the blue blur, Tails his little buddy, even seeing him as his little brother.

Now that I think about it, I suppose lost world would be the first time we see the closest thing to robotization in games. I know it's not the same as sonic SatAM nor Archie Comics (Or other comics or shows for that matter), but it's something curious that just came to my mind.

I know Lost World isn't the best received game, especially in story. I too have my gripes with it. But I can't deny the emotion is there. I can't get over Sonic's shocked face at seeing Tails and reaching out to him. There's a part that's happy to see him, but in this state. He then shakes his head in disbelief. There's so many body language cues Sonic does in the games to express his emotion.

Another thing I noticed, Sonic refuses to fight Tails. He did this in Colours too. Sonic is both the fastest thing alive and able to become a god like being, but refuses to fight his little brother no matter what.

Chris reminded Shadow of Maria because of the promise to her. (If my memory doesn't fail me) Molly did remined Shadow of his deceased friend, not just physically, but also her positivity. (Sadly, Molly basically shared Maria's fate)

Since Charlie (from hazbin hotel) has a very kind, cheerful personality and wants to bring happiness to Hell(she also tries to see the best in everyone) , how would Shadow react if he met her? Would he support her dream in redeeming the sinners? Would he subconsciously be reminded of Maria?

Yeah... Charlie does seem to be very positive like Maria. He probably would be for the sake of entertaining your idea. He was reminded of Maria from Chris in Sonic X which was... odd. Was he the same with Molly in a way? I can't remember details.

I remember making not only drawings about the Hedgehog version of Maria Robotnik. But I even made my own interpretation of the concept of Maria the hedgehog, based on the story of the Shadow the Hedgehog game. Specifically one of the bad endings. Which I made her a female shadow android. (Maybe I'll give her a rework when I get free time)

How do you feel about the idea of turning Maria into a hedgehog( aka HedgeMaria)? It used to be all the rage in the Sonic fandom to furry-ify her into a hedgehog.

I remember it being the rage on Deviantart. I even drew it back in the day.

Overall I think it's silly. She was fine as a human.

I remember watching a Sonic X fan animation where its just some mini scenes of the original series, just with the Sonic cast drawn as humans (With animal hears and tails of their respective species) and there was also an Anime that made a fantasy version of the console Wars between Sega vs Nintendo. (Although the latter didn't last long in it's long run, only about three episodes, I think. I haven't checked that one for ages, but it isn't something too special.)

What do think of this sonic like human design by uekawa (idk if it's supposed to be a human version of sonic or a human dressed like sonic)

Totally agree.

Although, I've gotten a little used to Sonic's voice by Roger Craig Smith from colors to Forcers and even Dream Team. Can't say the same thing exactly to Kirk Thornton's voice for Shadow. Simply the tone of voice he gives to Shadow doesn't suit him, it just makes him sound way to old. The irony is that Kirk voices voices characters and some are somewhat similar to Shadow, like Saix from Kingdom Hearts for example.
