Download: Placeable cliffs

One thing that always bothered me about Sims 2 is the fact that the cliff textures in the neighborhood get lost as soon as you enter lot mode. Your hood looks totally different and unrealistic without them. If you feel the same, this CC is for you!

While this CC does not fix the problem, it lets you place cliffs everywhere you like and you can have multiple textures at the same time. Here’s a full overview:

- Three textures: Brown, dark & grass - Winter ready: The cliffs get snowy in winter - Different shapes & sizes for your needs (4 per texture) - Good fit to the terrain with no ‘holes’

All pictures were taken in lot mode.

The grass cliff is optimized for criquette’s terrain replacement. But with my .psd template down below you can swap the grass texture under the rocks.

This is a project I thought I had shelved, but apparently I deleted it (whoops!), so I had to start all over, but I think it turned out better so I’m ok with that!

This is a Momma Lisa conversion of Gelydh’s Tattered Alpha Dress mesh, but it’s frankenmeshed with a nude mesh that I got from this post, it’s just called “momma_barefoot_mesh” so I don’t know who to credit for it.

The textures are Skell’s Gemology Sleepwear + 2 extra recolors (16 colors total). The mesh has fat and preg morphs. Comes in 4 flavors! Standalone, or slaved to Skell’s files, and BSOK’d or Tooltipped. They’re edits of the same files, so make sure you only keep one version, they will conflict! All files have been compressorized and are clearly named.

寿司！すし！Sushi! And Gatchapon too!

I converted these for my sushi restaurant and the gatchapon was kinda on a whim cause I like gatchapon (only the idea, not actually using it! especially on those mobile dating games that I don’t play anymore! ¬.¬)

The sushi stuff are originally for Sims 3 by Alban, made for Mura Sushi bar apparently. The site is long gone but there’s some sort of a record here. I got my files from Ohmysims’s sushi restaurant. The gatchapon is by @noiranddarkSims, also for Sims 3.

Anyway…

Sushi conveyor belt - I’ll start with the bad news. It’s 11K poly. Yes, 11K poly. That’s the price of all those cute plates and round nice sushi. That’s why I made an extra version, the one in the second picture. I removed a bunch of the plates and that lowered the poly count to 7.4K. So the deal is like this:

There are three versions. One is the main sushi conveyor. Second is the lower poly one using the SAME GUID! meaning you can only keep one. Both of them are masters, so it doesn’t matter which you keep. The third is a slave version of the lower poly conveyor, so you can have both of the versions if you intend to keep the 11K poly mesh. The filenames are super clear, so don’t just throw everything in and only keep what you need!

Nigiri Sushi - that’s the one that’s orange-white on the left side, in case you’re not a sushi expert. This one is 1.4K poly and is slaved to the main conveyor (either the full plates or less plates work, as I said.) There’s an extra red recolour for this one that works both for the conveyor and the wooden plate thingy.

Futomaki Sushi - that’s the one on the right that’s wrapped up in seaweed. It’s 2K poly and is also slaved, same deal.

Gatchapon - the blue thingy. These are usually outside shops in Japan, you put a coin in and get a random prize. It’s 7.5K poly unfortunately, but for one or two on a lot it’s fine by me. :D

Note that the sushi conveyor is floodfilled cause I don’t see why not, and the sushi themselves are “photoskinned”/realistic, since I remapped the entire thing and retextured it using images from Google. Just look at the closeup it’s so cute! Feel free to make recolours and more variations of the sushi! it’s actually super easy! The wood texture on the Nigiri and Futomaki Sushi is by Maxis (from Ikea I believe.)

Mooglesims kitty tights are adorable and I want to pair them with all the shoes! I started with @deedee-sims colorful Docs. They’re for TF and AF, and you can choose whether you want them slaved or not. Both versions are included, so keep one folder and discard the other, they will conflict! All files have been compressorized and are clearly named. Meshes and swatch are included.

“Neural Network Dark” Carpets/Stairs >DOWNLOAD & Neural Network Photoshop Actions >DOWNLOAD

So, this perhaps requires a bit of explanation.  A neural network is a trained AI, in this case trained to randomly generate paint colors & name them.  Being the absolute garbage of the internet that I am, when I came across these colors generated & named by a neural network, I knew I had to make COLOR ACTIONS with them.

I picked what I thought were the funniest color names from these two posts: http://aiweirdness.com/post/160776374467 http://aiweirdness.com/post/160985569682 ..& organized them into Light/Bright/Dark color action sets (as seen above, with color names). With a few exceptions, these are fairly neutral & useful colors.  They just have freaking hilarious names.

I’ve been creating for Sims 2 for 10 years (and one month)! To mark the occasion, I decided to get off my lazy bum, and finish up and share a bunch of things I’ve had in progress/done for ages. I am also sitting at 239 followers- maybe some goodies will bump that up to 250?

Part 4 (the final part) of my 10th anniversary gifts is converted TS4 objects!

Mostly in Deco-> Misc. except for wall mounted cow heads, skulls and drawings which are in wall deco, and two functional toy boxes in toys.

Some objects are by EA, others are by the talented creators at PlumbobTeaSociety. The Jock clutter is made by me from the TS2 Maxis Jock TV centre, I just threw it in because. Some items have recolours; the toddler slide has two recolours which aren’t showing up, if anyone knows how to fix it, feel free!

24 Sliders

This is a set of 24 face sliders available to use in Bodyshop, CaS and the plastic surgery machine. I tried not to recreate sliders made by other creators but I somewhat failed.

Features

they create inheritable facial features (if not applied in the plastic surgery machine)

since sims files do not contain any information about used sliders, sims created using custom sliders will be displayed properly and can be edited without problems if you haven’t these sliders installed

adjusted to various age groups and genders (since it isn’t possible to make a slider work perfectly with every face archetype, I’ve made it statistical way)

if it were possible, support for low detail faces (they’re sometimes used to create households thumbnails)

They’re the same as in the 20 Sliders set but I forgot to write about them that time.

Random stuff are random! sorta.

More stuff I got around to while sorting out my downloads folder… xD so maybe they’ll be useful to you guys.

Ogularama knives rack recoloured and edited slightly (I may have remapped it but it was a while ago XD I did change the base texture and move it to appliances -> misc). The recolours are Shasta’s Pirate woods + a bunch of extra colourful-ish ones by me (using my ACOH colours, since the wood texture looked nice) + Fission by Pooklet. MESH IS INCLUDED FOR THIS ONE. 

ATS box made smaller and deco. I found this box as part of the Artist’s workshop set but it was an end table or something and I thought it would be useful smaller for offices and such, since I generally suck at looking for specific CC and normally just happen upon things I need… xD so I just made this cause I needed it. XD it can be found in surfaces -> misc for 10. The original package is not needed. only one colour as previewed.

ATS straw dispenser extra recolours from the original TS4 set. In this case I just transferred them over (save for the yellow one), so these are Sandy’s, but I also made an extra pink one, cause why not :D MESH IS NOT INCLUDED. Get it here.

On this episode of “Defaulting the Non-Default Things that Other People Have Made”… isbrealiomcaife‘s Around the World face templates as defaults! Obviously, I couldn’t use all 48 faces, so I tried to use the same ratio of faces from each “type” in my set (i.e., there were 9 Asian face templates in the original set and I used 5 of them, while I used 2 Indian face templates to the original 4). I also tried match up the features of the original faces to the new set as best I could (i.e. wider noses in the Maxis set got faces with wider noses in this set). Take a look at the preview pics above to see which default matches with which face.

All of these faces work for all ages and genders - including the previously broken Cper and Csla! I bundled Argon’s Arch Fix into the template files so now they show up for more than just the adults.

Each face template file is clearly labeled so you can mix and match with different faces if you so desire, just remember that you can only have one default per face!

DOWNLOAD: Simlish Blackboard Writing for your Restaurants & Cafes [TS2]

This is something I’ve been wanting and meaning to do for a long time, and since I’m procrastinating from schoolwork, I finally did it. These are some Simlish chalk-style menus and illustrations on Aikea-Guinea’s half-height wall writing mesh (not included; download at link). They are meant to be placed on dark-coloured wall coverings to look like full-size blackboards or blackboard paint. There are eight recolours included; two ‘specials’ boards, one tea & coffee menu, three “Ask About Our [Cupcakes/Milkshakes/Burgers]” illustrations, and two speech bubbles (“New!” and “Top Pick!”). They’re on a transparent background; dark green pictured in previews is for contrast only.

TOU: Please remember to credit if you include them with a lot. You can use the textures for your own projects, but again, please credit (and link me to 'em!). Please do not upload to paysites or attempt to take credit.

Default Replacement Sellaphone Kiosks

Neverending quest to get rid of stand out technology, time for the Sellaphone Kiosk. I bring two complete mesh revamps of the horrible ugly thing that will hopefully fit into any market or such situation you have made. The first is a pigeon coop. Comes complete with pigeons and nests. The second is a simple market stall with strange objects laid out to peruse…and a pigeon in a cage.

Remember you can only have one in your game!
