I know this has been shared by a few people now but I think it’s an important message that this sport can be extremely dangerous and also that these are real people!

There are countless people who have shared or liked memes and jokes about Max’s accident. Honestly even if you don’t like a driver I can’t understand how you can be a fan of the sport and then celebrate and joke about accidents like this.

Whilst we are at it, it’s also not funny or cute to joke about Max’s upbringing. I’ve lost count of the amount of times I have seen people joking about Max being left at a gas station after he finished second or Jos being the only one who can beat Max. I don’t know why people are so comfortable joking about these things, I suspect in other circumstances they wouldn’t even dare.

Sorry for the rant but I just wanted to get this off my chest <3
