Why is the term shemale offensive to you?
/ I find it more triggering than offensive. When I hear it on youtube, shows, or as a joke from some jerk I feel a spike of anxiety. It brings to the forefront of my thinking the thought of how trans women are treated in society and how misunderstood transgender people are. ( Not to mention the porn industry uses the term as a kink, a fetish. People wind up seeing trans women as nothing but that fetish. I’m sorry not sorry but transgender people are NOT fetishes. )
