I will be forever salty about how Blizzard vilified Kael’thas in TBC for the addiction he had no control over and for desperately trying to save his people. 

His arc in TFT was one of the best in the game and many people had high hopes for him. He would be such an influential leader for the Blood Elves and would affect the Horde much more than Lor’themar “I hate politics so I’d rather stay quiet and be a background character” Theron. And instead they turned him into a fucking loot piñata .

WoW Shadowlands

Ok, so, it's been shown that Kael'thas will be in Shadowlands and I'm hella hyped (they'd better not f*ck up again), but you know who else would be in the Shadowlands albeit not in the same zone? ANASTERIAN!. I really, really hope they bring Anasterian into it somehow, it'd be bloody amazing to see more of him, perphaps not likely, but plz Blizz?

For a one-time payment of $2 and zero credit to my name, I will write up a canon compliant set of situations where Kael'thas Sunstrider could conceivably come back. I know you think you blew your chance with him, but off the top of my head Kel'Thuzad and Dar'khan Drathir died and came back at least twice each - Dar'khan canonically bit it four times - and Illidan had the ever-loving shit memed out of him and his “YOU ARE NOT PREPARED” line for years before Legion dropped.

You can totally bring Kael'thas Sunstrider back and do his character justice. Whaddaya say?
