after much deliberation, I think I'm going crystals! I love fossils and dinosaurs, but I really love theming my profile and icons around my team and figuring out crystals that represent each of my characters is very fun.

I think I've figured out everyone's associated gemstone, but I'm just struggling to incorporate the gemstone with the portrait

Updated reference for my wyvern, Stone! She's the oldest character I have that I still use, she's 14 years old, I made her back in elementary school. She's my baby. (said baby is 20 feet tall, countless years old, and is a big old grump that wants to stay in her cave with her treasure at all times)

An Icewing, born with very little cold resistance. He suffers in the cold as the other Icewings taunt him. Once he goes on a trip to the Skywing kingdom, he finds one of their coal piles and is drawn to its heat - and he finds out he's a Skywing hybrid that can resist the flames. He never wants to leave the flames after that.

Diving back into my WoF designs wings first- literally! Fun fact by wing types:

Skywings obviously have the largest wings (this chart is not to scale) and are built for power soaring- they have poor agility but are excellent for both soaring (obviously) and very good at quick takeoffs.

Mudwings are built for thermal (or active) gliding- they are almost as long as seawing’s wings and have mediocre active flight.

Contradictory, Sandwings are much better at passive soaring, made for rising on columns of hot air.

Rainwings and Icewings both have elliptical wings, for very different reasons. Rainwings need the control this shape gives them to handle the tight spaces they fly in (their also really good at making very quick calculations- they where historically incredible mathematicians because of this). Whereas Icewings use the burst flight strength to get off the ground in cold conditions, generally cruising very low to the ground. Much to Icewing’s chagrin, over long distances they need a lot of flapping to achieve very slow flight and are rather inelegant fliers.

Seawings are made for Dynamic soaring- slow and heavily reliant on wind currents, but with incredibly high endurance. They also have surprisingly sharp maneuverability, despite their size. They only have two wing fingers, each made up of two long ago fused bones.

Nightwings are passerine, short but high energy. They can take off in an instant and are scary fast. Similarly to Icewings and Rainwings, they have terrible endurance.

i'm curious to know, in your opinion, who do you believe Helen wished to stay with? Menelaus or Paris? Sorry if this is a bit stupid to ask, but was she cast under Aphordite's spell?

Eh I think both. Love is messy and there's so much missing context to her decision that we can never really definitively say. I dooo dislike the Aphrodite making her do it version though, mostly because I find it more intriguing if she made the choice herself
