Questionā¦
do yāall ever think about the bishopās original parents? like I see them as very much found family so sometimes I wonder if Shamura can remember waking up one morning, alone in a web with no sign of their parents. Does Kallamar remember that game his original siblings played with him? Does Narinder remember the song his mother sang while fishing at the pier? Does Heket remember the glowing morning dew outside her childhood home? Does Leshy remember the complex tunnels heād make with his dad?ā¦
But they donāt, and no one should expect them to. They were all so young afterall :(
Excuse me iām going to go cry now

doomed yaoi this, doomed yuri that. WHAT ABOUT DOOMED FAMILY. WHAT ABOUT THE NARRATIVE BEING SO CRUEL THAT EVERYONE KNOWS THAT THE FAMILY IS GOING GO CRUMBLE DOWN TO THE GROUND WITH LITTLE TO NO HOPE. IT GETS WORSE BEFORE IT GETS BETTER
The yearning for what once was. All the balled up emotions. They're beyond furious at their own, at themselves, at fate. Despite it all, they're still tied no matter what

small peek at a WIP iām working on, but i wanted to talk about my Lambās horns and what they symbolizeā¦
So my Lamb is originally a ewe if it wasnāt already obvious by some of my other posts. (She/they prns up until godhood in which itās only they/them). Upon meeting Narinder again after slaying Leshy for the first time, he can tell sheās desperate to ask a favor of him. Itās an odd request really, but in sheep culture, longer curlier horns were associated with strength and longevity. So she asks for ram horns to be grown as a reflection of her power, and asking him since she doesnāt have full control over the red crown yet.
So for each bishop killed, the horns grow, and grow, curlier and more full until they are faced with dethroning their most beloved god. Battle ensues yada-yada, but at the end of it all, they notice two small bumps on their forehead beneath their wool that are similar to that of a baby lambās.
A final gift, he thinks, though never telling. A silent offering of respect. They have grown far stronger than he had foreseen. And for that, they are granted a small set of horns.
The Lamb, an Ewe and Ram

Narinder yaoi or yuri? Up to viewer's interpretation. In any gender his appearance wouldn't really change as much

the lambās mother always told them ādeath is beautifulā in order to comfort them about the reaping. Though they never understood what she meant by it, how could death have beauty?
But finally understood how beautiful death is when they saw The One Who Waitsā¦

"I've made a new friend today, lamb."
Trudging along, bells toiling, the god of mercy visits the plains once more in search of lost souls in need of saving. A lush flower grove grows beneath their hooves, only to quickly rot and age underneath the crimson cloak. The scent of herb coated the ancient long gone architecture with new vigor.
Narinder still clings to their ancient master, loyal as always joining the solemn walk. He announces his blessed day, he made a friend, looking up to the towering beast for a sign that he has been heard. He almost wishes to choke a sob, for he sees there's none.
A trudge, new life, for it to end, the echos of chimes, an omen of sleep. He remembers the days when he despised the infant god for being so childish, the cursed mocking laughter of a sickly sweet soul, to see the joy written on their face, to see how proud they were when the news was given. Delight that Narinder is no longer so lonesome with the new family.
He'd give anything to break this damned curse, just to see that annoying, pitiful, awful, smile again.
