the funniest thing about the first successful blood transfusion being done on dogs is that dogs are one of those animals that doesn't innately have an immune response to foreign blood, so their first transfusion can basically be whatever blood type, and that means they're pretty uniquely bad for setting your expectations for humans if you don't know that. or what a blood type is.

Bedford Rascal, 1986. Bedford finally got a micro van in the form of a badge-engineered Suzuki Super Carry thanks to GM's tie-up with the Japanese brand. The Rascal was made in Luton, north of London, alongside the Suzuki version, manufactured for the European market. The Rascal was one of the last vehicles to carry the Bedford marque which was discontinued in 1990 when the Rascal became a Vauxhall instead, remaining on sale until 1999.

horse whose hooves are stuck individually in different colored buckets the horse seems a bit surprised but unbothered the sign of a well mannered yet perhaps empty minded horse or perhaps this is all a goof of the horses own design

honestly I hate “can you pet the dog?!?” not for any of the common reasons but because it was initially interesting as a proposition of “can you interact with the world in a way that is not within the primary mechanical loop” and that very quickly fell away to being “well now any indie developer making a game has to have a pet the dog button or they’re going to get letters”
