ACEComicCon Day1 So this is my repo. There were more people than I thought, and all the sessions were going on in rush. I finally met him after so many years. He’s so tall, and he smells so good. He is glowing. I froze for a moment before I asked him “how are you” because he looks so good in person I just couldn’t help staring at him. Hundred times better than on a screen even though that’s gorgeous enough. His eyes are so clear and bright. I could relate to James Corden’s “I got lost in your eyes”, cause I did too. I asked if we could do a waltz dance, and I was so clumsy that he assisted by holding my left hand and put it on his shoulder. “So you should do it like this.” Then he took me by my right hand and we smiled at the camera. To be honest, I was hoping us to look into each other’s eyes at first, but apparently I was too weak to do it. I knew I couldn’t look straight into his eyes for that long. I would pass out. I sniffled for a little after coming out of the booth. The autograph session was going on faster than I expected. I thought we would get the chance to talk for at least 2 minutes but nah. Everything was kind of in silence and he was just signing while the staffs were supervising. I didn’t even have time to show him my gifts. All I could do was to tell him that I’m an artist from New York, and I wanted him to sign my drawing. He said it was great. Then I requested for a piece of lyrics he likes as well. He asked “like from any song? Any kind of music?” I said yes. And then he was thinking about it for like a minute, so long that I felt guilty and told him it’s ok to pass if that one’s too hard to think of, and he said no no it’s fine and went on thinking. I didn’t know what took him so long, but he was so serious about it. The lyrics he signed for me was from Simple Twist of Fate by Bob Dylan. Exactly the kind of song I knew he’d be into. It’s so weird that I only noticed his facial expressions as he was talking to me from my friend. I was too nervous and managed to say what I wanted to say in a hurry that I forgot our interaction itself… but it was like a dream, really. Conclusions for today: 1. He’s exactly like how I thought of him. Not even slightly different than that. 2. He’s the most gentle person you can ever think of, and his devotion to his work is incredible.
