"Ah! Like- like that darling I found with Morgante and Ozzie that one time!"

"Oh, yeah. You mentioned that you found a confused pokemon in a dungeon a while back when you went on that request to take out that Kingler... told me they went on to join a team, too, yeah?" Newton asked. "Uh... Uri or something, was it?"

Poipole, he was called, but he also went by Kapono. Apparently, he was what was known as an Ultrabeast. Pokemon from another dimension.

That fact alone scared quite a few members of the guild, but not Team Ruin. They took him on as an honorary member!

Currently, the little ultrabeast was floating around in a garden. Despite being a poison type, he had a fondness for flowers.

Melodia picked up on the way Kapono seemed saddened by the lack of Izem's presence.

"Ah, I'm sorry, dear," she said, "but he will surely be back soon. I'm sure he would be more than willing to say hello when he returns."

"I dunno, Mel, that dungeon was pretty far out... it might be at least a we-"

"Shut up, Newton," she warned with a dangerous "smile". "Regardless, I'm sure he'd be happy to know you were looking for him, whether he'd admit it or not, hmhm~"

Something about the statement didn't click for Newton, though.

"...You said you stayed with some 'Shishi' when the boss wasn't around? Where're they at?" He asked, tails swishing as he tilted his head quizzically.

Melodia simply chuckled and shook her head 'no'.

"Unfortunately, our dear Izem is out on his own mission right now, so he's not anywhere here... still, I'm sure he'd be happy to know you were looking for him, hmhm~"

Newton nodded.

"Y-yeah. He and some of the other higher-ranked members of the team got dragged out in place of the big boss... how'd'ya know him, though, if you don't mind my asking...?"

"What an adorable name you have, darling!" She said, eyes closed to express a smile. "I recall hearing... something about unfamiliar Pokémon hanging around but you seem quite content yourself, hmhm~"

"That, uh... doesnt answer my... question..." the Tauros began, before Melodia swatted him on the head.

"Don't worry about it, Newton, darling. You don't have to be a recruit to hang out on guild property. Besides..."

She turned back to Kapono and tilted her head.

"I do believe I might have seen you with some of those rookies in that new rescue team, yes?"

The liligant chuckled, bouncing her head side to side to express her amusement.

"Well hello there, darling! Aren't you just an absolute dear, hmhm~?" She hummed, her voice having an almost musical lilt to it.

"Melodia..." The tauros huffed again, tails swishing anxiously behind him. He doubted he'd get her attention back now that it was taken, though, so he figured it'd just be easier to go with the flow.

"...You one of the new rookies??? I don't think we've seen you around before..."

"Yes, yes, the mission was... awfully tragic if I'm being honest. Why- the poor soul at the target location listed was positively fuming...! Oh, me, that Polteageist fellow, and Mimey and Gigi... we were quite torn on what to do..." An elegant pokemon sat in the garden, regaling a tale of a recent expedition to a large bull pokemon. "Why, Newton, dear, it felt like such a sad moment when I had to... deal with the situation."

The Tauros tilted his head and huffed.

"When you had to deal with the situation? What about the others??? Mel... don't tell me you-"

"I had them make sure there were no other individuals in need of our aid in the meantime." The liligant interjected simply, before turning her attention out towards the flowers.

"I think you're actually crazy for doing that alone but... nevermind."

The Tauros sighed, looking out at the gardens as well. His interest seemed piqued as he noticed the small, alien pokemon

"...H-hey, is that one of the new recruits that we've been snagging as of late or am I just going crazy? Did- did we get any new recruits that were that little? W-wait I might have heard something about this..."

As he mumbled, the Liligant tilted her head up and waved one of her leafy arms at the Poipole once she noticed him, her eyes narrowing in what was presumably a smile (though her lack of mouth did make it hard to tell...).

"Um... well, I guess thats a bit of a relief, then... if youre ever looking to game when you're chilling, I'm always open to co-op...?"

She shook her head.

"And, uh, dont worry about the Monstro Lounge thing... I've pulled some strings there so hey? One less... problem... to worry about."

Her discomfort was likely a bit evident as she spoke, but she tried to not to display it too hard.

"Whatever. Just hit me up if you're looking for something during your break. Ive got a ton of games you might vibe with."

Morgante's eye twitched as she pulled out her phone, preparing to type a rather aggressive message into her group chat.

"Dont worry about it. Go take a breather, kay, doll? I'll take that off of your hands."

It did not seem like Morgante would take "no" for an answer in this scenario, and was already furiously messaging Olivine to promptly bite the shit out of some random student.

She also made the mental note to learn who the student was so she could... politely persuade them later.

"You've really gotta learn to tell those assholes no, otherwise they're going to run you ragged." She muttered, hitting send in the group chat. "I really hope you get the time to actually sit down and relax tonight instead of doing all that stuff at once."

"Jeez you just got your arms full, dont ya?" Morgante said, a slight hint of concern in her voice. "You sure you can handle it all on your own? Surely you could've like... dropped some of that on someone else. Or like, I dunno... spread it out at least?"

She brushed her hair over her shoulder so that she could curl a strand in her fingers as she thought.

"Hmm... I do know a guy or two thats real good with heavy lifting. They'll gladly help out if ya need it."

Morgante was still mad at some of the boys (read: Olivine and Georgie) after a recent stunt that resulted in a hole in the walls of the typical meeting room. They would not gladly help, but she would certainly persuade them to do so.

"Then again, what do I know. Just make sure ya take a break. I run an open server in most games if youre ever lookin for something to unwind..."

A student from another world. Morgante could've gone on, but she had things to do and places to be. And she wasn't heartless, either. Surely her dormmate had similar things to do.

"I dont gotta be on for another hour at least, though. You want any help? I mean, night is the time to unwind. Why not lighten the load a little?"

"G-Geo! C-cut it out! T-t-this is a violation o-of r-rule number-"

"Oh to hell wit' it Gio! Im outta dorm arrest so im gonna do what I want!"

"B-but youre just going to wind back up on-"

"Dont worry bout it! 'S long as neither the housewarden or Izem find out it'll all be good!"

The students continue to go back and forth as the student on a skateboard lands on the floor and breezes past further down the hall, not watching where he's going.
