Today I had to say goodbye to the most wonderful dog in the world.

She's been hiding it from us as best as she could for as long as she could, but she was struggling with kidney failure. She was a brave grateful girl that only wanted us to be happy. Her goodbye was quick and without suffering.

We only got to have her for half her life, but I hope that half was happy.

I already miss you so much, Mája. ❤️

I'm thinking about Stephanie finding the courage to sneak off into town for the first time.

Last time she's been in town was before her magic growth spurt and even then she's never been alone. Some people would stare at her strange appearance, but at that point, it really wouldn't matter.

The town has changed so much in the 6 years since she's been there last and this time she has no one to stop her from exploring and no one to urge her to get home.

She'd be captivated by the store front windows, daydreaming about buying the pretty dresses displayed out front or decorating her bedroom with various cute trinkets. She's never been to a restaurant before, but maybe now, if she could somehow get together some money, she could go for the first time in her life. She'd be drooling over the window displays of the local cake shop, wondering if she can make the same cakes at home. Inspired by the colourful flowers inviting people to visit the florist. Hoping that maybe someday, she could watch a movie at the cinema. Losing her mind over the endless art supplies in the local craft store. Dying of cuteness from the small animals begging her to take them home at the local pet shop.

Just in one small short trip, her tiny world has grown so much. She would find so many things to be excited about, so many things to look forward to again.

And I think that's cute.

So they removed two of my five wisdom teeth today and I got to keep them, which is pretty dope.

But the thing is... They handed them to me in a syringe because they didn't have a plastic baggie???? How do you not have a plastic baggie

I am so upset.

So as some of you here know, I have a turbulent relationship with my father and I've cut off contact with him a year ago.

I don't talk to him, but my sister still does (could not tell you why), so usually I get news through my mum who gets them from my sister

Today I was told that recently that excuse of a human said that he is so proud of how my sister and I turned out to be such well-adjusted and self-sufficient hardworking people and how he has a lot to be thankful for to our mum for raising us so well.

How dare you. HOW FUCKING DARE YOU. You have NOTHING to be proud of. You don't get to be proud of something you had no hand in. How dare you say that after tearing the confidence of us both over and over, how dare you say that after abandoning us again and again. We came out well through the blood, sweat and tears of our mother and our brother working their asses off to make sure we have everything we need. My mum worked a hectic busy schedule, took care of 3 kids, 3 pets and a full household and she still always made the time for me when I got sick or injured, she always accompanied me to competitions, nurtured my interests, supported me through thick and thin.

And you... What did you do? Left us on read for months on end. Indirectly insulted me for choosing art. Told my sister she'll always be a nobody if she pursues the career she did. You said you had a new family when I needed you. You withdrew financial support for two full months during COVID when I took a while saving up to pay you back for a computer YOU YOURSELF SAID I DIDN'T NEED TO PAY BACK FOR, that I needed for school.

I cannot speak for my sister's mental health, but you chipped away at mine until I would get sick for weeks on end at the thought of seeing you again. You made me hate being alive. It took so much effort and gentle loving support to get me back on my feet and even then I'll never be that same confident girl again.

How fucking dare you.

Honestly, this is all just upset ranting, but the balls on some people. I cannot believe this man, he still continues to baffle me, even now that we're no contact.

If anyone read through this, I am sorry. This was just blind rambling, a Tumblr readmore post is less effort than therapy lmao. Feel free to disregard all of it.
