‘Twas Monday and I was on a meeting when a friend send me a link about a viral ‘guwapo’ priest daw! I opened it and tawang-tawa me when I found out who the priest was - 𝐅𝐫. 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐢 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐬! ☺️😅😆 I don’t know but I suddenly remember him sometime in July yun and we got connected via FB. He said he is coming home na nga. He arrived in Manila around first week of August and was asking for prayers because he contracted Covid while in the quarantine hotel. But then sometime last Saturday yata yun people started replying his tweets and sending indecent DMs. Until he was so viral in social media na nga. And Padre is not really happy with the kind of attention he’s getting from people. If you know him, he doesn’t deserve this kind of welcome party! Ayy Caramba! (favourite expression ni padre haha) Fr. Ferdi was our retreat master back in early 2000s, wala na makaalala the exact date/ year but it was in Guadalupe Minor Seminary. As you can see in the photo batang bata pa siya and kami rin! PLM student pa ako niyan. And I can attest that he’s really good looking edited or not the photos! 😝 Sorry kayo nauna na kami magswoon kay padre and nakasama na namin siya for 3D/2N lols 😂 But seriously, aside from the looks, he’s really intelligent and full of wisdom. Ikaw ba naman Summa Cum Laude from Catholic University of Louvaine! Medyo para siyang si Cardinal Tagle, may kaya rin ang pamilya nila but very humble and somewhat of Chinese descent kaya maganda kutis niyan. Mahiyain siya in person and very soft spoken. He likes wearing parang kamisa chino or white shirt lang and then khaki pants plus the boots. Distilled water ang pang-mumog and toothbrush ni Padre! Not for kaartehan but sakitin kasi siya so may mga precautions. Pero baka now hindi na kasi he’s so buffed na! Ang layo when we first met him na payat pa noon. Okay na daw siya but still recovering with after effects of Covid so that we could see him in online Masses too. I really hope people would get their act nicely. Please turn down all the fake pages and please talk with respect because he is a priest after all! Ibang level yung alam yung name ng plants mo to be fair. Pero dun ako sa No. 5 para I don’t have to worry the next day na merong galit or nagtatampo just because I doze off during a convo lols 🙈✌️Because it happened before, it was an issue. I also like No. 7 because I really like to cook now but iba kasi yung appetite and lasa ng food kapag ikaw naman yung pinagluluto minsan. Time Check: It’s past midnight na and surprisingly, di pa inaantok! Pero most likely, nalipasan na ng antok since we finished our Unit HH around 11 pm yata yun. Otherwise, kanina pa tulog! Haha But I still need to stay for a while kasi di ko pa nagawa yung devotional and I promised na magsusulat na talaga ako sa journal na ito. This one is a journal apart from my personal journal. Lols Well, it’s something recommended by the devotional and I also like the idea so I wanted to do it too. Effort lang talaga eh. You can use any notebook that you like. But I find it cute na may print din sa gilid. Haha I bought it the other weekend pa and I was super excited magsulat. But every time I want to write I get annoyed, I get bad trip or something happens that breaks my disposition. I told myself I wanted to write on it when I am on a happy disposition kasi I wanted na good vibes yung mafeel ng taong magbabasa nito balang araw. Pero to be honest, I am struggling right now for the past weeks. Because I am so annoyed! And kapag ako talaga yung annoyed, meaning it’s REALLY ANNOYING! 😂 I guess that is the challenge for me this season. Doing the mechanical part- rosary, mass, reading, journaling etc manageable pa talaga but dealing with the snares of the devil, it’s really hard. And I know that the last 30 days won’t be swift. I am praying for everyone’s protection and guidance. I also hope that this annoyance won’t lead to resentment and that I can just shrug it off na ganun lang. But I’m so grateful today kasi ang dami kong narinig na stories today. Kaya iba ang motivation ko today para finally magsulat sa journal na ‘to. And I also realise that I also need to write the not so good things pala. Kasi no matter what, perfect will not come. But we do hope to find something that is REAL and SINCERE.
