“Good thinking!” She starts tying the ropes together into something akin to a pretzel. “We can use this to send someone into the hole to save him!” As soon as she figures out how to tie a proper knot...

This is getting out of hand. 

You throw some rope down next to the hole. And then you leave them to their fates.

What was Medaka up to today? It’s obvious everyone was wondering about this exact thing.

Medaka had decided that perhaps she should enjoy herself for once, as it would seem exploring was becoming somewhat of a bore. Perhaps today would be the day she visited the various stores along the region. She had decided on the Mermaid Cove Mall, which she had only seen in passing so far. It was intriguing to her to see this magnificent shopping mall. 

“Perhaps I should make a point to visit this place more often.”
