Now do I make things happy and fluffy by saying Adrien loves Marinette so so much that he doesn't mind her all disgusting and sick like a normal person
Or do I make it sad and angsty by thinking about the fact we have confirmation Adrien was the only one around while his mom was sick and deteriorating so he probably got desensitized from a young age when it comes to sickly people and bodily fluids and all the unpleasantness that comes with disease
The tough choices we have make. Hmmmm....

I now understand that the reason they aired these two episodes Like That is because they wanted the gays to have two big wins in a row

Caprikid's fighting style really calls back to Evillustrator and it's fantastic. It was beautiful watching him summon up supplies and using them as attacks--the markers as throwing knives, the huge pencil, the art palette as a shield and the supersized eraser. Genesis lets him weaponize his creativity again, and he's impulsive but he's also quick on his feet. Especially love how he still pulled off the plan even when LB's distraction fell through, he absolutely slayed in this.

I really like how Marinette handled this. She knows that Nathaniel's likely to regret this, so she persuades him to let her hang onto the proofs. But she also agrees not to show them to anyone else in order to respect his present choice.

The knights' story tells us that they have to make a choice between revealing their identities and staying together, or not revealing their identities and keeping their powers. I think many of you will have seen the parallels with the lovesquare, but not only...
The scene where Marc and Nath reveal their identities is a parallel to the Ephemeral episode where Marinette and Adrien also reveal their identities. I have a feeling that the curse of revealing identities gone wrong doesn't just apply to the love square, but to the other miraculous holders as well.
#ml spoilers#ml season 6#ml the ruler#oh i was thinking something similar#but we have djwifi already knowing#and as far as i remember that hasn't bite them back???#i need to rewatch if yes...

Seeing that Marcanielās passion for comic books obviously acted as a metaphor for being queer this episode, Iād just like to point out that it wasnāt just Nathanielās mother being depicted as the homophobic parent, but his dad also depicted a different flavour of non-acceptance this episode.

I think heās meant to represent the kind of parent that says that they accept queer people but continue to enforce their own agenda onto their queer child regardless. Him saying that the relationship between the two knights lacked real sentiment and instead suggesting it would be better for them to fall for the villain lady instead because thatās what people wanted to see is just another form of disregarding your childās queer interests and suggesting that they put on a heteronormative mask instead to appease others.

I'm sorry, but that scene made me laugh so hard. It was such an unexpected reference.
(I don't know if it was on purpose, but the joke seems specific enough not to be intentional...)
āIl pleure sur le pouletā (āHe cries over the chickenā) or more commonly āC'est quoi ce poulet?ā (āWhat's that chicken?ā) Ā is an expression many French people use on the Internet to express something they find incredible.
The expression was coined following an interview with rapper Kaaris.
