Kyle loves going out for parties, he loves being able to talk to new people while having fun

But one day, while you two were out at another one of Julie's parties, that's when he started to notice how uncomfortable you were

You stood awkwardly next to him, arm stiffly around his, as you seemed to glance around you

He put two and two together rather quickly, taking you softly by the hand and guiding you outside

As you two stepped out on the porch and onto the sidewalk, you looked at him confusedly

"Look, I'm not a fool. I know you didn't like the party. I don't want to stay there if you feel uncomfortable."

Looking at him in surprise, he simply smiled

"We can still go out though, if you'd like. Maybe a walk at the park..?"

You smiled and nodded as you both left, leaving the party behind

From then on, Kyle took a lot more to consideration with going out with you

And as you come to find, this is really telling with how he responds in a relationship

His favorite dates are usually indoors. Watching movies, playing games, etc, anything where the two of you can have some proper time together without needing to put in a lot of effort

His main love languages are acts of services and gifting, so get ready to receive a variety of things from him

He mainly enjoys hand making things such as accessories, trinkets, and more

If you beg him enough he might even make you a robot

Whenever you are away or he's just alone with Kyle, he tends to mention you in the most random topics, even if it has nothing to do with you

He tries to impress you in any way he can, whether that be through his clothing, the places he brings you, and the things he gets for you

His main love language aside from quality time is physical touch, so hand holding, hugs, and other forms of affection are very common with him

With that in mind, PDA is very common and it's become established since the start of the relationship. He really likes being able to show you off

He enjoys teasing you about the many things you do. It's nothing malicious, nowhere near bullying level, he just enjoys the reactions you give

You were pretty excited for the battle of the bands

It was Crash and the Boys vs Sex Bob-omb, two of the most well known indie bands in Toronto

There was a lot you were expecting. Cool songs, the fun of competition, the excitement in the crowd…

What you weren’t expecting was a man blasting his way from the balcony towards one of the main bassists

As he got punched back into the crowd by Scott, landing himself fashionably, you finally got a good look at him

And to your surprise... he was quite cute!

A lot of talk started about his ex-girlfriend in the crowd, a league of exes apparently made in her stead. But once they stopped, the fighting started again

It's one of the things he always finds himself to be drawn to as there weren't as many openly alt people back in the 2000s

So having an interest revolving around it really makes him fall for you all the more

Otherwise, Matthew definitely appreciates the intricacies in your clothes

The layers, the well thought out accessories, the makeup... he loves it!

Is very willing to help pick out outfits and help you with anything revolving it

He is an expert at eyeliner, so he’s got you covered on that through and through

At this point he's come to look forward to the daily activities you've decided to do with him for the day, your laidback attitude really helping him to relax

After fumbling with the one movie that offered him a job and his agent bailing on him, Lucas had nowhere to go

He had no money to go back to his home, nor the money to even keep it

So he called the only place nearby he knew that could help him

Which just so happened to be you

As soon as he called to ask if he could stay and explained what happened, he didn’t even need to step foot in a direction before you skidded your car to stop before him

Not much was said on the car ride back, just a little thank you until you pulled up to your home and helped him with his bags and skateboard

When you both set his stuff down on the spot beside the guest bed, that's when you noticed that the situation seemed to hit him

Lucas is not one to get super sad about situations that he gets into, he can easily turn a negative into a positive in a heartbeat. His demeanor seemed to be more disappointed, whether that be in himself or just with the situation as a whole

So you sit yourself beside him on the bed and gave him a hug

It took him a bit to realize what you were doing, but it seemed to cheer him up almost instantly, returning it tenfold.

Todd's heart was shattered after Wallace's rejection

Yes he's used to flings and such with women, Envy being no better than him, but unlike any of them he felt a genuine connection to the boy

He found out so much about himself through Wallace, and now that was gone

So as soon as you heard the about the news after making your way to the set, you quickly ran to check up on him in his trailer

And oh, how much of a mess he was

As soon as you knocked on the door, it weakly opened to the man himself eating nacho fries with stains lining his face and shirt

He went so far as to break veganism because of the heartbreak, and that enough told you how hurt he was

As soon as he shuts the door behind you, you set the bucket he held aside and gave him a hug

The blonde instantly melts into your embrace and reciprocates it, sniffling a bit as he holds onto you

As you slowly try to release the hug to guide him to the couch, he only brings you in closer

It's when his sniffles and silent hiccups relax into little sniffs do you dare to talk a little

"...You wanna talk about it?"

As you guide him to the couch and sit him down, the boy just seems to want to cling to you more

A/N: I think I got a little too caried away ;v; I don't even want to look at the word count on this thing-- I hope I did okay, though! I don't know much about the punk and metal scene, especially in the era Scott Pilgrim takes place in, so I hope I did this right!

Matthew already has a pretty alt style of clothing, so he is instantly interested if someone else has similar tastes to his

Yes his style and music is more emo than metal or punk, but most people back in the 2000s were looking for any possible way to find people of any similarity, and this especially applies to Matt

With this in mind… i feel like this is how you two met!

Don’t know when, don’t know where, but seeing another alt person (with the added benefit of you being quite handsome in his eyes) definitely gave Matt the willpower to come up to you

Was he a bumbling idiot asking for your number, yes, but it was worth it!!

Now as for the relationship itself, he most definitely will be stealing a few of your clothes every once in a while

May even try to copy a few style choices, like patches, buttons, any accessory really to blend it in with his own

Maybe a few shirts too

If you do the same, he will absolutely melt

Along with the style, it doesn’t exactly matter whether you wear it more casually or not, he will most likely help you pick out outfits

He's really nitpicky with his own, but if you need help with what outfit to match with what, he's got you covered!
