Racism and Body Shaming

Hello!! guys and girls, today we write our very first blog and the topic of this blog is very common for some of us or maybe not for few of us. There are still some people out there who are facing criticism. Yes, it's true, maybe it's not you but those people who are doing this can either be one of your friends or can be near you or can be you as well or you maybe a victim. If it's happening in front of you and you are ignoring them or not stopping them, then you are at fault too. But, if you are facing such criticism and it doesn't bother you or it doesn't affect you, you are as badass as the people who do it to you.

We know it's getting confusing for you here but the topic is Racism and Body Shaming. Now, maybe you're judged by your friends on the basis of your appearance or color of your skin or maybe teased by some. The intent behind it matters, whether if it's friendly, then also maybe just maybe it's okay, one can take few jokes, as us Indian's (mostly) are obsessed with the color white (being fair skinned) it's in our habit that's how we grow. Now the questions and objections rises whether it was deliberately done to destroy your confidence or to let down or to show that you are inferior or even to mock you anywhere and anytime, in such cases the people facing this are broken and are taken aback and people who tend to enjoy join them and some who feel it's wrong take a stand.

Now, there may not be people to take a stand for you. So, by spreading awareness or in a hope, if we can change few minds, we started something which is this blog where we will talk about all such issues and what's our personal take on it.

Some people not only in your place but also at other places are facing such criticism, who apparently need our help, so let's help them or support the one's helping them. This issue can be fatal as few hearts are not as strong and they choose the wrong path or commit suicide.

At the end, we would like to write the lines, which we recently saw and it immediately grabbed our attention and gave us our first topic was from a movie which came out in 1965.

The lines go like this " It doesn't matter how you look like. You could be tall or short or fat or thin or ugly or handsome or you can be black or yellow or white, it doesn't matter. What matters is the size of heart and the strength of you character. "
