Telling yall my reason for headcanoning ben with he/they pronouns and svetlana with she/they/(he?) ones cause i just wanna get it out there

For ben its because of his deep connection with math. Doesn't math feel like such a gender neutral subject ?? Unlike yk biology or language, gender means absolutely nothing to numbers. Being someone who has a built in internal clock, lvl 16 math skills, and probably being able to feel every second pass maybe feels like theyre disconnected from their gender ( at least a little), yk ? Also not to bring up bfdi but most/all of the algebraliens are genderless and go by they/them hehe

Svetlana's a bit harder cause i lowkey blacked out while reading goes north and i cant remember many details about her 😭🙏 gotta re-read that before rly committing to the hc but still

But its just her personality feels so. Neutral. Like their behavior is not giving any specific gender imo its interesting. Its also lowkey a reference to The Prince from Bullet Train ifykyk like russian mafia ?? and she goes by prince because shes an heir but her brother is favored all that stuff.

OK SO ben is an average, trout-based seawing and yes his bioluminescent scales r freckles :3 i think hes very seawing core

Erica is a SILLY catherine is a silk/ice hybrid and alexander is an icewing so yaa its a recipe for success :3 she can sense weather and things approaching with her antenna which only adds to her competence. She has this black cape thing she uses to hide a bit better since shes very shiny and spiny :3
