Really his whole response is very telling but this is the part when you can feel that he's sowing seeds in order to start shit and go on the offensive against hermitcraft for allegedly "spreading rumors" against him(the original statement of hc on their twitter was very much NOT that? It was very concise and they only ever clarified WHEN rumours started to pop up like the involvement of minors). Now he can say that actually, he has some "behind the scenes intrigue about the TRUTH of hermitcraft because he knows shit you guys!!! Aren't you curious about the behind the scenes drama!?" 🙄

He's really a textbook narcissist. The language he's using in the video is really just him trying to make himself look good and convince people that actually people were just out to get him. Not once does he acknowledge what he was ACTUALLY accused of, he doesnt even try to defend himself. Really, don't fall for his shit. I watched enough of his streams that it's kinda messed up to see his ability to lie and convince others that he's gotta be in the right play out in a real life situation.

I personally find it difficult to be swayed by this when he provides no support for anything he says. He writes off the situation as "rumors" and "allegations" without giving us any reason beyond his appeals to pity for his mental health or financial struggles.

I say this as someone who had been a fan of his for several years now. In my eyes, the hermits did their best to handle this with as much grace and care as they could. They reached out to Iskall for an emergency meeting, which he says "did not have any interest in joining". They were careful in their initial announcement/statement for the safety of the community members that brought the initial concerns forward. In spite of Iskall's claims otherwise, they DID moderate their Reddit/Twitter. This video, in my opinion, is disingenuous at best.

If Iskall intends to put this behind him and just "move on", then so be it. I don't intend to be a part of his viewership.

Been swamped right at the end of the year, haven't kept up with Hermitcraft or any MC stuff in a bit but I did see that Hellfire of the Vault Hunters team have an update on the situation of the games future

It's very disappointing that Iskall has been non-communicative and seemingly revoked access to the codebase for his devs (former devs?) From what I see nobody is sure theres a way forward and the community is starting to lose hope in the future of the pack.

At the end of the day, whether anything else comes of this or not nobody can tell. But I feel like kicking my past self for ever thinking this guy could make a move to turn Vault Hunters into it's own separate ARPG. With what we know now with how he is at the project helm that boat was permanently drydocked before it could ever launch.
