Favorite Minor Arcana Naturally, being a Cancer Venus and having Venus in the Seventh, I always look at how Venus is depicted in all the decks I get. My favorite minors are consequently those in which Venus is involved: 4 of Wands, 5 of Swords, 9 of pentacles and , obviously, 2 of Cups. The card of Love. But also, being me I had to make this picture gloomy and melancholic with muted pastely colors. The Dust II Onyx’s Hermit is special because of their expression. Hard to describe but it gets even better when you realize They’re just an older version of The Fool card. I just love this depiction. #tarotandoraclefavorites by @groundingistrusting Day 7. Favorite deck for Shadow Work. To me , without a trace of a doubt The Linestrider Tarot is the greatest deck for Shadow Work. Its demanding yet subtle and elegant and invites you to have deep intimate conversations with it. Sincere. I have never used it to read for others, but it doesn’t hold back anything when I read for myself with it. It’s always a bit of a ceremony to read with it too. It doesn’t like to just be thrown into spreads just like that , takes its time. I like to listen to Chopin’s Nocturnes when I read with it. And works perfectly, creates an atmosphere that the deck seems to respond to. Not to mention while Siolo Thompson’s Art is colorful and delicate there’s a great deal of seriousness to it. A lot of strong and challenging images.
