anyways, this is a more formal hiatus announcement i guess? it's like 10 o clock my time so bad timing but eh. between shifting schedules, working out and just living it's been trickier to log in here. i'm also realizing i've got low self esteem and the environment isn't always the best for me either. so, dunno when i'll be back around really. if any mutuals wanna write in the coming days, my discord is still floating around in a prior post. if i'm gone too long and you want to break mutuals, feel free.

hi i followed up on the superhero oc but the blog isn't quite ready yet. she's a second generation nigerian immigrant former applied physicist assistant who can accelerate time. she got a glimpse of a perfect world and is trying to make that into reality one time slip forward at a time. they've got an irl fc for now, i'm working on an animated but there's a super high chance i go iconless. if you're interested in interacting w/ em you can give this post a likey-do.

considering  he's  been  stuck  on  light  duty,  it's  been  a  pretty  cake  week.  organizing  his  coin  collection  became  a  breeze.  those  unfinished  puzzles  were  the  masterpieces  they  always  should've  been  and  back  in  their  boxes.  all  he  needs  to  do  now  is  relax  —  take  a  deep  breath  and  enjoy  the  peace.  at  least,  until  all  this  restless  energy  sends  him  through  the  roof.  if  he's  lucky  …  that  could  be  another  hour!

at  least,  until  her  pillow  thumps  into  his  face.  fluffy  and  soft,  yet  dripping  in  mischief.  doesn't  hurt,  stuns  him  more  than  anything  but  he  catches  it  as  it  falls  into  outstretched  arms.  a  frown  sits  in  the  corners  of  his  mouth,  bangs  tousled  this  way  and  that.  his  eyes  narrow,  bottom  lip  jutting  out.  playing  innocent?  really?

"nope...  i  am  not  doing  this."  he  insists,  stern.  his  grip  on  the  pillow  tightens,  knuckles  taut.  "i'm  not  doin'  this."  a  flicker  twinges  his  tone,  straining  against  the  dam  he  built.  "ain't  doin'  this,  ya  hear  me?"  shaking  the  pillow  at  her,  balled  in  his  fists,  he  does  his  best  to  slacken  his  grip  —  to  let  it  go,  but  …  doesn't.  his  frame  lurches  as  he  clambers  to  his  feet,  a  laugh  akin  to  bark  slipping  past  his  lips.  "shouldja  kept  the  damn  peace  while  ya  could,  sock!"  double  overhand,  that's  how  he  swings  his  pillowy  weapon!  bringing  it  down  on  her  in  an  arch  like  a  lumberjack  aiming  at  the  post.  "brat!"
