Don’t think about an eighteen year old Andy that feels free for the first time but has a deep feeling of guilt in her gut for leaving her sisters.

Sirius, Andromeda, and Regulus run away together and open up a little bookshop, but can only afford to pay two employees to divide the work with them. Andromeda handles the interviews and picks their two employees. Those two employees are Remus and James (two hot best friends who wanted summer jobs together)

Sirius and Regulus see them for the first time and absolutely panic. Sirius stands there in shock and Regulus tells them they’re fired.

I feel like Andromeda is often forgotten when we talk about the Black sisters. That is unfortunate, as I think her character has so much potential.

In my mind she only left her family after she found out she was pregnant with Nymphadora. She knew her baby wasn’t safe with her family, so she ran away, in the middle of the night. She wasn’t stupid, Andromeda knew they would search for her, so she made sure they couldn’t find her. When it became public knowledge she married Ted, her family stopped searching for her, instead pretending she never existed to begin with.

In this drawing I wanted to show her the night she ran away, through the gardens of Black manor, leaving her old life behind with no way of going back. That being said, I don’t think she ever truly stopped being a Black, a part of her always stayed with her family, with her sisters.

i just have this hc that narcissa would send neville anonymous gifts on his birthdays. he would be waiting for the mysterious owl to bring him a wide assortment of chocolate every year.

Cygnus Black watched both his two eldest daughters fall so far from what he raised them to be.

Bellatrix became a crazed lunatic who blurred the lines between pure-blood supremacist and a merciless harbinger of terror, wreaking havoc on the muggle and “mudblood” population. Cygnus had never once encouraged his daughter’s involvement in Voldemort’s cult of extremists, nor did he believe in the exposure of the wizarding world through the reckless actions and violence being exhibited by his own flesh and blood.

Andromeda made Cygnus’ worst nightmare a reality; she became the wife of a filthy muggleborn. Andy tainted her family’s lineage with her decision to marry Ted Tonks, allowing him to defile and violate everything the House of Black stood for. To Cygnus, the downfall of his second eldest daughter was like a punch to the gut for him. He was in complete disbelief when Andy ran away from the path that had already been paved for her, creating a chasm within the household that left much instability.

I think people forget that all the Black sisters were ALL a little disturbed. In the books, Andromeda is a hothead and Narcissa is always borderline hysterical. Bellatrix, of course, is notoriously sadistic, even before Azkaban. The bottom line is, they're all ruthless and I love them.

4th year kisses between secret study sessions, shy pecks and giggling behind hands at how flustered they both were

Alcoves in 5th year being taken advantage of for makeouts when the corridors where empty and far away from slytherins wandering

6th year, fighting, argueing, ignoring, and being ignored, notes returned untouched until their hand in hand, graduating together, but one of them had never felt so alone.
