she really brings out the best in me. before i met her, i was grumpy and moody and difficult, and don't get me wrong, i'm still definitely those things, just not with her. it's like she flips a switch, and i'm not complaining.

“Okay, well: cool answer…I’d like my immortality. Full-fledged god-ness.” Makaria sighed. “But the way to get that is…super not-cool.”

Aria only nodded as she listened to her. She already knew exactly what she’d wish for. “I’d wish for everybody out there to never feel lonely.” An unrealistic wish sure, but she couldn’t help it.

“…as much as i want to deny that, you’re probably right,” he said. “you see sides of me that i don’t show anyone else. it just sorta… happens.”

Aria blushed and giggled a bit bashfully, clearly flattered. She leaned forward and gave his lips a soft kiss before staring back up at him. “Well one day they’ll see the Talon I know and love.” she told him sweetly.

“that would be fantastic,” he said. he needed all the help he could get when it came to directions. “i’m orion, by the way.”

“Of course.” she assured him with a giggle. “Oh it’s nice to meet you Orion, I’m Aria!” she introduced herself.

“lollipops.” he grinned. “what about you? actually, now that i think about it, it’s a war between  candy corn and lollipops. now, i am not sure.”

“Lollipops are probably my favorite too!” she agreed enthusiastically. “Especially the strawberry flavored ones!” she gushed.

“matter of opinion. i’m sure your brother and anyone else who knows you would agree with me,” he said, though his argument didn’t have any force behind his words. he was too relaxed.

Aria’s blue eyes blinked up at him and she pursed her lips at his statement. “Well then it’s only cause they don’t know the you that I do.” she said, a sort of playfulness in her tone.

“Well how about both?” she suggested with a shrug.

“hmm…depends. do you want the cool answer or the honest answer?”

“that’s a good way to look at it.” zorro nodded, taking down some notes. “now, do you have any questions for me?”

“I’m glad you think so!” Aria replied clasping her hands. “Hmmm well... oh I got one, what's your favorite kind of candy?” she asked curiously.

“oh, um, hello,” he greeted quickly, not expecting to see anyone so friendly. “i was just looking for the astronomy classrooms. wherever they are.”

“I could show you if you would like!” she offered with a smile, already eager to help the stranger out.

Aria had passed by the boy and couldn’t help but notice that he seemed a little confused. The pegasus was always quick to help someone if they needed it and so she approached him. “Hi there! Did you need any help?” she asked him.  

“alright, where am i going…?” orion wasn’t skilled at map-reading, not at all, not in the slightest. exploring the isle had come with time and constant exposure, but auradon was so much larger. “maybe i should just work on magic stuff instead. that’d be a better use of my time…”

“That’s not true, Talon.” she protested softly. “If you don’t deserve me, then I don’t deserve you.” she replied before resting her head against his chest.

“Well I wouldn’t say perfect but I couldn’t ask for anything better.” she replied optimistically.

Aria had felt lucky that she hadn’t been seriously injured like some of her fellow classmates. The whole situation had still left her feeling unsettled. However she decided to see her friends that had been injured during the whole ordeal.  

When she heard shouting she stopped, recognizing the voice. She blinked before curiosuly peeking in. Noticing what had been going on her cheeks turned pink with embarrassment and she began to back up to the door. “Oh I’m sorry If i’m interrupting anything..I can come back.” she said sheepishly. 

even after she’d just been possessed by a seawitch, coranza flores was stubborn. she hadn’t many injuries — a fairly deep wound in her hand, a mild concussion, and some bruised ribs. nothing too serious, at least, not compared to some of the other students who’d been admitted to the hospital, and that was the reason for her stubbornness.

“literally, what is the point in me even being here?” the princess practically shouted at the nurse. “no, no — i’ve dealt with worse! who are you to say whether or not i should be here — oh, sure, it’s your job. well, if anyone in this hell-hole of a place was any good at their job, then this probably wouldn’t have happened at all —”
