I sat down to write today but I couldn’t seem to find the words. I put on some smooth jazz, lit a candle hoping that I could write some poetry.

I purposely quieted my mind to find something profound to say but the pain in my knee made all my words go away.

Maybe tomorrow will be a better day, we’ll just have to wait and…
