We   didn't   see   this   one   coming  !   Fans   of   pop   sensation   𝐍𝐎𝐕𝐀 𝐑𝐄𝐈𝐆𝐍   were   elated   to   see   their   queen   finally   return   to   the   spotlight   after   quite   the   tumultuous   couple   of   weeks,   but   were   even   more   shocked   to   find   that   she   came   out   of   hiding   all   boo'd   up  !  Theories   ran   wild   about   who   the   mystery   man   that   made   it   to   #InstaOfficial   status   could   be   (  on   her   birthday,   no   less  ) ,   until   eagle-eyed   fans   recognized   that   necklace   and   back   tattoo   as   belonging   to   none   other   than   X   Games   champ   and   rumored   Team   USA   Olympic   skateboarder   𝐄𝐋𝐈 𝐁𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐏.      Though   notoriously   private   about   his   dating   life,   the   Vans   brand   ambassador   didn't   seem   shy   cozying   up   to   the   disgraced   girlband   beauty   following   his   2   month   sabbatical   through   Asia  ...   hopefully  the   hunk   knows   what   he's   getting   into,   given   Miss   Reign's   less   than   ideal   track   record   with   exes   after   the   reveal   of   her   secret.   Either   way,   we   hope   it   lasts —   for   his   sake   more   than   anything  !

                    𝐈𝐅   𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄   𝐖𝐀𝐒   𝐀𝐍𝐘𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆   𝐄𝐋𝐈   𝐃𝐈𝐃𝐍’𝐓   𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐑   when   up   and   leaving   the   city   ,   it   was   the   unexpected   hole   left   by   leaving   alanna   behind   .   though   he   was   sure   he’d   miss   his   obvious   core   group   ,   alanna’s   connection   to   eli   was   something   he   had   yet   to   define   in   his   own   head   ,   a   weird   in   -   between   that   left   him   equal   parts   confused   and   uncertain   —   but   he   could   be   absolutely   sure   that   seeing   the   beaming   blonde   open   her   door   put   a   thud   in   his   chest   he   was   no   stranger   to   .   “   hey   goldilocks   ,   ”   he   grins   ,   anchoring   himself   to   be   able   to   support   her   practically   hanging   off   of   him   .   he   gives   her   a   quick   hug   back   ,   more   excited   to   hold   her   out   in   front   of   him   as   if   to   study   her   features   ,   a   visage   he   had   nearly   been   scared   to   forget   during   his   travels   .   he   wasn’t   even   sure   where   it   was   that   he   and   alanna   had   left   off   ,   considering   his   sudden   departure   with   little   opportunity   for   closure   in   any   of   his   connections   .   “   you’re   not   as   ugly   as   i   remember   you   ,   i   guess   ,   ”   he   teases   ,   squinting   one   eye   as   if   to   analyze   her   face   .   “   i’m   kidding   .   you’re   a   real   sight   for   sore   eyes   .   ”   he   follows   behind   her   into   the   apartment   ,   warmth   spreading   through   him   at   her   enthusiastic   greeting   .   “   nah   ,   i’m   sure   you   don’t   want   to   hear   too   much   about   it   .   just   another   white   guy   taking   it   as   an   excuse   to   not   shave   and   claim   they’re   seeking   culture   and   enlightenment   .   the   usual   bland   bullshit   ,   ”   he   laughs   ,   before   pointing   back   her   way   .   “   what   about   you   ?   what   have   you   been   up   to   since   i’ve   been   out   of   here   ?   ”

alanna  had  to  admit  that  the  day  she  heard  eli  left  the  city  was  a  really  sad  day  for  her  .  he  was  one  of  the  only  people  she  felt  like  she  could  be  completely  herself  around  &  it  felt  like  he  had  her  back  no  matter  what  may  come  up  .  she  truly  felt  like  they  had  a  rare  &  undeniable  bond  between  them  ,  something  completely  irreplaceable  &  the  kind  you  only  get  once  in  your  life  .  that  was  the  simplest  way  she  knew  how  to  explain  how  she  felt  about  eli  .   hearing  from  him  again  after  the  last  few  months  without   him   brightened  her  day  ,  and  she  was  quick  to  request  his  presence  .   as  soon  as  she  heard  her  doorbell  ring  she  was  quick  to  make  her  way  downstairs  from  her  bedroom  ,  containing  her  excitement  as  she  made  her  way  towards  the  door  .  she  swung  it  open  &  an  immediate  smile  occupied  her  features  as  soon  as  she  saw  her  friend  on  the  other  side  of  the  door  for  the  first  time  in  way  too  long  .  “  hey  you  !   ”   she  shrieked  happily  before  wrapping  her  arms  around  his  neck  in  a  strong  embrace  ,  probably  almost  knocking  him  over  in  the  process  .   “   jesus  ,  i’m  so  happy  you’re  back  .  i  missed  you  ,  ”  she  exclaimed  ,  resting  her  chin  on  his  shoulder  .   once  the  embrace  ended  ,  she  gestured  for  him  to  come  inside  .  “  okay ,  so  how  was  your  backpacking  trip  ?  i  wanna  hear  everything  ,  ”   she  smiles  widely  .

really , would they be margo and elijah if they weren’t dragging each other ? absolutely not . with the way they fell into step with each other , it was almost like he had never left . the petite brunette shrugged her shoulders and let out a dreamy sigh . “what can i say ? i have a gift that just needs to be shared .” not long after , a wide grin breaks out across her features . the first genuine smile that she’s cracked in a minute . “and i’m gonna let you believe you’re a nice guy because i’m such a good friend .” it might’ve been wistful thinking for her to hope that due to his overall disconnect from modern society would prevent him from finding out about … well … all the bullshit that was going on . not that she’d admit it , but when elijah left he took all the common sense with him , apparently . and she wasn’t too keen on admitting to all her recent wrong doings . her hands raise up as if pleading innocence . “in my defense– you left me unattended for two whole months ! that was a dumb move on your part .” ah yes , revoking responsibility . it was a move she pulled often . “get your chewbacca lookin’ ass in the car then . the sooner we eat , the sooner i can fix your hair .” because that was the priority right now . margo opened up the trunk so he could throw his bag(s) inside before going around to the driver’s seat .

            𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆   𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐆𝐎’𝐒   𝐁𝐄𝐄𝐍   𝐀   𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓   𝐎𝐅   𝐄𝐋𝐈’𝐒   𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐄   for   the   better   part   of   his   formative   years   ,   the   way   they   so   readily   slip   into   their   old   time   roast   sessions   is   about   as   comforting   as   comfort   can   get   for   the   male   .   “   yeah   ,   some   good   friend   you   are   ,   late   to   come   pick   me   up   from   the   airport   after   i’ve   left   you   ‘ unattended ’   ,   in   your   words   .  ”   he   strides   alongside   her   ,   feeling   everything   aligning   again   just   right   in   his   world   —   best   friend   by   his   side   ,   little   left   for   eli   to   possibly   ask   for   .   he   pokes   her   in   the   ribs   as   if   to   express   his   annoyance   ,   eyes   rolling   .  “  yeah   i’d   think   mega   super   star   margo   rosas   would   have   half   a   brain   enough   to   not   let   everything   go   to   shit   while   i’m   gone   ,   but   i   guess   it’s   just   my   luck   that   i’m   the   brains   of   this   operation   .   we’re   both   fucked   ,   in   that   case   ,   ”  he   chuckles   ,   dropping   his   luggage   off   in   the   trunk   before   hopping   easily   into   shotgun   —   man   ,   it   feels   good   to   be   home   .   not   that   he’d   let   himself   (   or   margo   )  get   too   comfortable   in   the   easy   -   going   energy   of   their   reunion   .  “   so   where   are   we   gonna   start   —  should   it   be   me   hearing   about   you   dropping   out   of   your   broadway   show   ?   ”   he   asks   pointedly   ,   an   interrogation   almost   as   if   he   were   her   father   more   so   than   her   twerp   little   brother   .   “   oh   ,   maybe   we   can   start   with   you   moving   out  ?   which   can   then   lead   into   your   dumbass   cat   fight   with   ky   ,   right   ?  where   do   you   wanna   go   first   ,   marg   ?   ”

          rummaging through things , kylie wasn’t expecting anyone to come over . not that she cared if they did . she just didn’t expect it . so in the midst of stuff all over the apartment ( because of margo’s current moving out state ) and kylie just going through things to see if she could put the pieces of her past , she didn’t notice sounds from the door after awhile . “ i’m coming ! “ she calls out , setting a picture frame down . and she sort of hurried up - - - not really though , to open the door and see elijah . kylie’s leaning against the door frame , looking at him . she’s blinking as he’s speaking .   “ annddddddd … . “ she stretches the words , looking puzzled . “ who are you , again ? “ for a moment she acts serious , long enough for it to set in before she’s smiling , a small laugh leaving her lips . “ i’m joking . “ kylie tells him , stepping closer to wrap her arms around his frame to give him a hug . “ i’ve missed you . “ she says genuinely when stepping back , and making way for him to enterr the messy place . “ are you going to stick around , or are you just passing by ? “ 

                𝐄𝐋𝐈   𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐒   𝐎𝐔𝐓   𝐀   𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇   𝐎𝐅   𝐏𝐔𝐑𝐄   𝐑𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐅   to   have   kylie’s   smug   grin   meeting   him   once   more   .   “   i   never   thought   i’d   be   so   happy   to   see   you   being   such   a   smartass   ,  ”   he   laughs   ,   giving   her   a   squeeze   tighter   than   any   hug   before   ,   and   it’s   true   .   the   news   of   kylie’s   hospitalization   was   enough   to   bring   him   back   from   halfway   across   the   world   ,   a   reaction   he’d   likely   only   have   had   otherwise   if   it   were   his   brother   or   margo   .   he   holds   back   a   wince   at   the   idea   of   the   latter   ,   entering   into   the   apartment   at   ky’s   encouragement   .   “   i’ll   stick   around   and   order   us   some   take   out   if   you’re   in   the   mood   for   company   .   i   don’t   have   to   stay   long   ,   but   i   did   clear   out   my   afternoon   in   case   you   wanted   to   get   your   ass   kicked   in   fifa   ,   ”   he   offers   ,   wiggling   his   brows   at   her   teasingly   .   “ i   lowkey   wish   you   would   have   forgotten   me   ,   imagine   the   fucking   pranks   i   could   have   pulled   to   get   back   at   you   for   all   these   years   ,   ”   he   grins   ,   before   wondering   the   full   extent   of   what   he’s   heard   .   a   part   of   him   ,   regardless   of   how   ruthlessly   his   sisters   torment   him   ,   holds   the   memories   they’ve   shared   closer   than   most   ;   the   idea   of   kylie   losing   them   is   enough   to   send   a   pang   through   his   chest   .      “   i’m   sure   you’re   probably   sick   of   talking   about   it   ,   but   what   exactly   is   going   on   with   your   memory   ?   i   mean   you   know   who   i   am   ,   clearly   ,   but   is   everything   there   or   are   there   like   ,   gaps   ?   ”
