it has almost become a ritual by now, kiko being called over to jiah’s apartment when she needs someone to finish the delectable baked goods she so often makes, and honestly? kiko isn’t complaining. sure, it may not be great for maintaining her diet, but who can resist the thought of yoon jiah's pastries? not kiko, that’s for sure. besides, she knows she will burn off all those calories in the practice room soon after anyway, since she does spend a good part of her days just dancing in there.

today though, kiko decided a little change was now in order. thus birthed the idea of having jiah teach kiko how to bake. she has never been of much help in the kitchen and personally, she thinks that baking is arguably slightly more challenging than just cooking, since the ingredient ratios are so important. so there is a high chance that she will drive jiah mad with her lack of proficiency, but it’s too late. there’s no backing out now, for either of them, seeing as kiko is already standing right before jiah’s door. “knock knock!” she shouts as she knocks on the door, a wide grin present on her face as she bounces lightly on her feet in excitement.

sometimes it still feels like a dream to kiko when she's asked to practice with someone as a mentor of some sort, although she knows she has worked hard enough on her dancing to be considered a fairly competent dancer at least, if not an accomplished one. still, the idea of having someone under the tutelage of her, even if just for a day seems like a miracle almost, and if she had been told that something like this would happen when she first started out as a trainee, she would never have believed it. but here she is today, standing before one of her closest friends in the position of a dance advisor of sorts, if you will. it’s nothing official, of course, but it still makes her giddy with joy.

pulling her hair up into a ponytail, a cheeky grin surfaces on kiko’s lips as she glances over at sooah. “we’re not leaving this place until those cute little feet of yours can’t move anymore, you know that right?” there’s a playful lilt to her voice as she speaks, an impish spark in her eye, but they both know just how likely it is for that to actually happen, because when kiko dances, she dances hard.

kiko grew up in wazuka, in kyoto and her family owns a tea plantation cultivating uji matcha, basically your small town farm girl

she has an older brother and a little sister, and she dearly adores both of them

when her older brother moved to tokyo for university, she followed along with him and that was the first time she left her hometown

got street casted when she was roaming the streets on her own, auditioned and actually passed

her family ( except for her brother ) were not the most supportive but they’re slowly starting to change after her debut

personality

kiko may seem intimidating or give off a sorta fierce image when she’s on stage because of her powerful dancing

but!!! off stage she’s really just a huge dork

she’s real naive since she basically never saw the ~real world~ until she came to korea at the age of 18 ???

also real bright and bubbly

basically the type that just wants everyone to have a good time tbh

when she first came to korea she lagged behind a looot with the other trainees, since she never had any proper training before

there was a lot of talk about her passing auditions only because of her looks, so she worked reaaal hard on honing her skills when she was a trainee

but worked on her dancing skills the most because she thought that’s something she could actually perfect if she worked hard enough

now that she has debuted, she wanted to be recognised for her dancing skills and not just for a pretty face

honestly all kiko wants is to... dance and have a good time with everyone tbh LOL

so please come and love her because she will definitely love you back!!! ♡
