Evaluation
Media and techniques
In making my project I learnt how to make weapons in blender, then import them into unreal engine 4, before adding my meshes to them in the game. I also used an asset pack that helped me in the level's aesthetics. Overall, as the game mechanics were the focus of my project so I used this assets pack to help lead the player around my world.
My research helped a ton when I was designing my space station which definitely brought the game together. As a whole the things I researched into were the multiverse theory in movies like star trek and rick and morty these show me some of the problems with a multiverse like the fact that it is infinite, meaning it is impossible to make up for all of these in one story, rick and morty explain this with the infinite curve and star trek fixed this by saying that only certain universes could crossover with each other and that this is rear to happen. This research has help me build out my universe and story.
I learnt bug fixing through trial and error by testing my game as I went. I was able to find and fix multiple bugs in my game early on and fixing them in an elegant fashion instead of being stuck at the end of the project with a broken game. I also lert how important optimising your game is to performance overall as it allowed my game to have more and run smoother. I did this by switching all the lights to static and terning of dynamic shadow on the space station exterior.
Purpose / theme / concept
Due to VR being unstable I changed to 3d first person, this was much more viable for me to work on within college due to the lack of VR accessibility for testing. I’m happy I moved of to create a traditional fps as it meant I could make it more stable and not have to deal with VRs issues of locomotion.
The inventory would not work so I removed it from the game as all it did was slow down the pace making the combat boring. 
In most sci fi games with guns you want to switch weapons quick and their inventory which blocket the screen and stopped movement for the player would be quit arquid it the middle of a tense firefight so I replaced it with the d-pad which was the best of the worlds as know i can switch weapons fast will also being able to dodge attacks from the enemies making it more fast paced over all this helped the fell more haktick over all.
I added a weapon to the enemy,  it would oddly stay in the middle of the map, I worked out this was going to 0,0,0 due to it being a static mesh. I fixed it by editing the weapon to have a root actor, this fixed the issue.
Outcome
Overall it met my expectation but is some areas and believe I had a successful outcome.
Somethings I would change if I could do it again is to have more story, a further developed inventory and cutscenes that are not broken. The project does meet the fmp brief the only thing in which i didn't make is the inventory and story in the form of cutscenes in the game.
Conclusion
I was able to make a game which despite its glitches is over all of  a bigger scope then my other projects this year but I fought that because of the bigger scope i found that most of the game needed polishing the game but i was able to get a lot done especially when i came to the weapon design and modelling which i found kepet the sci fi aesthetic of the game combined with the lighting i found the game was over all good but thanks to a lack of sound got quiet boring too lock play over time.
Overall I learnt a lot about not just coding but also how to make a weapon look like it has been built and the importance of small delta building up to bigger things.
Next I would spend more time thinking of the story and world instead of just rushing it to the game making process straight away.

I thought the torch was too dim and small, I couldn’t tell what most things were, and so got lost easily, not being able to tell what was a door or shootable vent. The mechanic of shooting vents was also not made very clear in the beginning, and I thought the idea of slowing time was fairly useless. However, if there was music/sfx, I thing the atmosphere could’ve been really well done. I also think the player moved too slowly.

in this game i liked the facet the facet that the game dose not tell you what to do and all the hints bare subtle by using posted nots and light that blink combed with the good level design and constant are still makes this game more uneek to see and play
one of the down sides to a game that is open ended is that if you doubt know what to do it is difficult to find out as at the stared of the game a pc hade fallen over and the game assumed you would kick it but i did not know to do this and so wasted 30 mints tiring very thing till it worked making the expires frustrating over all

fixing bugs with building the game
wen i billet the game i hade a fuew erers wen wilding it and i hade 3 iders to fix 
 it and thay ware event begin play - event tick and evant hit i started by checking event begin play by having it sporn an actor and wen i simulated it the actor sporen but wen i trid it wen the game was bilet the actor would not sporen 
event tick- to test evant tick i add a print string to the code but it did not work out sid of testing (after being billet)
event hit- the enamys and the warld would not get hit out side of testing 
becaust of thes gliches thet i can not fix i cannot billed my game at all and so insted i have to play the game in engen wich mens the game cannot be optimised at all

in my game I hade the plane to billed it however wen i tried the event begin play broke and would not add the widget to viewport i hade to find out how to fix this I hade to idlers and they where to either add an actor witch dos the code or to billed a now level as this one is probably broken.

Star Trek Multiverse Theroy

In the previous post I talked about multiverses. This is not a new idea and have been used in many other stories in other media. 
Star Trek uses the multiverse theory in many of its stories but it doesn't have infinite one but instead a few known one. One such alternate reality is the mirror dimension where characteristics of people are reversed so that evil characters are good and good characters are evil for example. This allowed for the series to explore alternate stories and retellings of characters which made for interesting plots but they make much difference to the main series. Using multiverse theroy the same way I could also create alternate stories of my games in the future.
