conserving redwood forrest
the redwood forrest in america is huge and the trees (that are me) are massive, that means the boys could get lost there and live in a tree house with ot people finding them. the redwood forrest have been saved for the future some of the points above says they burn some areas to manage it. the redwod league also works with land owners which stops people from over usingg it or cutting trees down for fire wood

treeshouses research
there is loads of treehouses in the red wood forest in america. they're mostly air bnbs for rent by tourists, in one of the photos you can you can see a biodegradable toilet, they're trying to keep the impact on the invirement to a minimum. i looked at this biome dome one but didnt want to have something so modern so i looked at wooden ones instead, i really liked the idea of stair cases between things.

The Exclusive Brethren - cult
i reasearched this cult because of the isolating ways of the cult, i like to picture that the cult that Callum and Sylas was raised in was very very isolating, that they couldn't even contact the outside world
History:
The Exclusive Brethren emerged in the 19th century as a split from the broader Plymouth Brethren movement. In the early 1800s, the Plymouth Brethren were a group of evangelical Christians who rejected traditional church hierarchy. The Exclusive Brethren formed as a more separatist and rigid faction that believed the wider Brethren movement had become too tolerant and lenient.
The sect's influence has spread worldwide, though they tend to be secretive and avoid publicity. They are particularly known for their business ventures, with some members involved in successful businesses, though these are generally run separately from the mainstream economy.
Controversies:
The Exclusive Brethren have been the subject of criticism due to their strict rules, the isolation they impose on members, and allegations of abuse and coercion. The group's practice of shunning those who leave or are expelled from the community has also drawn criticism, as it can lead to significant social and emotional hardship for individuals and families.
In summary, the Exclusive Brethren is a conservative Christian group with strict practices regarding separation from society, rigid moral codes, and tight community control. It has been controversial for its authoritarian structure and its separationist stance.
escapees that have speaken out :
Sara McKinney: An author and former member of the Exclusive Brethren, she has spoken out about the emotional and psychological damage she endured growing up in the group and the struggles she faced after leaving.
John D.: A former member who left the Exclusive Brethren, John has spoken about the difficulties of rebuilding his life outside the group, including the impact on his relationships and career. He has also given interviews about the practices of the Brethren and the control the group exerted over its members.
"Unorthodox" by Deborah Feldman isn鈥檛 about the Exclusive Brethren specifically, but it does explore the themes of leaving a strict religious community, which resonates with those leaving similar groups.
"Breaking the Silence" by Emma is a memoir by a woman who was raised in the Exclusive Brethren and went through the difficult process of breaking away from the group. This kind of literature helps shed light on the internal workings of the Brethren and the struggles faced by those who leave.
