PART 1 OF ABORT, RETRY, FAIL? IS FINALLY OUT GOGOOGOGOOGGOOGOG

Just so everyone knows;

For the month of July, FNF Beyond will be on a hiatus so I can focus on Artfight (which you should TOTALLY join-) some writing *may* happen during the weekends (my only breaks from artfighting), but nothing will get posted during that month.

On another note; I am getting BADLY hit with with demotivation stick, making it quite difficult for me to finish writing the second part of Abort Retry Fail (the Null chapter), despite it being almost complete.

So- in order to keep myself from falling behind in skill, and still doing SOMETHING with the au, I am going through all 42 published chapters (someone kill me now) and updating them to fix any grammatical or structural/formatting issues that I can find.

I also may start writing stuff for my other au’s too, but that’s only if- after updating the chapters- I still can’t find any motivation to finish writing Abort Retry Fail OR the rest of the corruption arc in general (which is deadass only 2 chapters left after the Null ones, we are THAT close).

Thank you for your understanding, and HOPEFULLY you’ll at least see part one of Abort Retry Fail long before July hits, and maybe part 2 if I’m feeling nice lol.

quick update for you all.

Apparently Ai fuckheads have been scraping millions of works on ao3 for a while, and I just now found out-

I *will* still be writing for/updating the fic on there, however it has now been restricted so that only registered users can see it and comment on it, while not a complete solution to the data scraping issue, it makes doing so ten times harder (or so I’ve heard), and I like it that way.

If you‘ve been reading my fic without a registered account, I do apologize for this development, but I prefer my stuff be protected from Ai fuckheads.

I hope you understand.

However as a way to let those that are unregistered still at least keep up with the fic, I will be adding heavily detailed summaries for each chapter as I post update links under a “read more” break.

It will be under that break so that those who are registered and CAN read it won’t get instantly spoiled as to what the chapter is about before they even open the link.

Here’s a few stickers I made for the goobs! We have Blue, Soul, C, Sebastian, Sophie, Pico, Nene, Darnell, Falsethorn, Monster, Harvester, and Harvy (Unmasked Harvester)!

I plan on making a sticker for every important character in the au, but we'll see how long my motivation lasts lol. (Planning on making ones for Navy, Indigo, Armaros, Senpai, Pixel (based off of Keiden's version of Pixel from the Setsunai au- go read it!!!!!), Glitch, DD, and MM next!)

I personally adore his updated Progressed Corrupted design (the one with all the cracks on it).

And I kept a hatless version in the lineup as well, mainly so there’s a reference of what his hair looks like w/o his hat on, especially since I wasn’t too sure if I should include like a Pajama/sleepwear outfit in the lineup, so hatless ref it is lol.

If anyone is curious about what his sleepwear fit would be; it’s literally just a fuckin plain white tank top and some black shorts. Nothin special lol

That moment when you’re officially out of retirement

So like- I know I’ve been dead for like- months, and I apologize for that.

I did say that I was going to take a break for a the last half of January and the beginning of February (up to my birthday, which- I’m 21 now!!! Legally allowed to drink the spicy drinks!!!!!!!!), but it ended up taking a lot longer, not only due to the burnout I had and an artistic/writer drought, but I was also dealing with a lot as my best friend (doggo) passed away six days after my birthday due to Lymphoma, an aggressive type of cancer that attacks the lymph nodes.

I won’t get into the depressing aspects of just how quickly her quality of life practically disintegrated before my eyes from the day of her diagnosis to her passing, but it was just utterly fucking heartbreaking. She’s definitely in a better place now, running around with our other friends before her. It still definitely hurts with her gone though, don’t get me wrong, especially since this is legitimately the first time I have ever been without a dog snoring loudly in my parents room or greeting me when I come home from school/work. That was probably the hardest part of loosing her, not having her or anyone greet me at the door.

So- considering that I had to deal with the bullshit that is loosing a pet far too soon (literally, she’s the youngest dog we’ve had pass away from something like this- she was only 7), and also the burnout and the sheer drought of ideas or how I even wanted to write this, that is why it took so long.

However, I can at least post this chapter! We’re actually getting pretty damn close to completing the corruption arc and starting the second-to-last main-fic arc! Like- 4-5 chapters left! (Technically 5-6, but I do already have the next chapter written due to how I prepare things, so 4-5).

Also, if you can see where the quality of my writing dropped and switched to the “just get this fucking chapter done already” style, plz ignore it because again, I was dealing with a lot on top of not knowing how I wanted the chapter to even flow at that point 3

Pre-edit: AO3 is being a stupid fucking BITCH and isn’t letting me post the finished thing with the properly italicised text where the Asterisks are. So I’m posting it now with no stylized editing just so you can actually fucking read it and I’ll try fixing it tomorrow if ao3 will- Y’know- actually fucking let me… the pricks. Fix the fucking site, this shouldn’t be happening. Especially when this chapter is SO FUCKING BIG and I have to scroll through the ENTIRE THING to find the small ass spots where the italics are supposed to go.
