🏜️ 200 Followers Gift : The StrangerTown neighborhood ! 🛸

🛰️ So many of you loved the photos of this neighborhood that I decided to share it with you. I called it the Aurora Military Base (in reference of the incident in 1897 that took place in Aurora, Texas)

I’m completely gutting the vanilla files of Sims 2 thereby redesigning my own life simulation game which is a unique blend of Sims 3 and Sims 2 (with some Ts1 sprinkled in) in which I build my own worlds-recreations of Sims 3 worlds fyi-where I use Google Docs to track over 50 households and their personal stats, finances, ages, traits, and other important information (sometimes you can’t look at a Sim’s inventory, such as when chance cards pop up) and any time anything dumb happens, I obsessively fix it 😁😁😁😁

Sims 2 Skintone Editor Program

Since Sims 2 is an old game, it only has a limited amount of skintones, even the cc ones. And, if you want to create new skintones, you know that it's no easy task, with all the BMP files and such for just one skintone alone. Well, now, with this program, you don't have to manually adjust all of them, this program does that for you.

So, this program has two key features, 1. is to blend two skintones (if you want to make a middle shade from two skins, or blend two different skins from different cc creators and make a hybrid of that), and 2. adjust a skintone (brightness, contrast, hue, and saturation).

Note: I was able to make this image editor program because i have both a background in arts and in computer science, and mix that with a love for the Sims 2, and that's why I made this.

Just caught one of your hallowpoems on my dash, always love to see them! So, how about the prompt 'meshing'?

I love everyone who tries meshing, new skills are hard, i'm not your boss, I treasure everything you make, I love you, I'm sorry-

Whoops! No morphs included. (He can still gain weight. He does still gain weight, It might not show, but he gains it, he can see it on the scale, his ribs, his skin, his muscles, his organs all compressing the fat, like an exoskeleton. His skin is crunchy, and tough, and a prison for the globs of fat squirming and sloshing inside- He is denser now. He is dense, dense, dense, He looks as slim as ever but his feet punch through the floor-)

I ran out of time, so I left out the maternity shape- (She's pregnant and the baby is inside of her terrible, inflexible skin, growing, and growing, pressed up against the cage of her, there's no room-)

I know the mesh still has a few black shadows- (They're just not natural. He wonders if they'll spread, if he'll make up one day, black patched over his hands, his stomach, his mouth-)

Can you believe the game shipped with a broken fat morph- (They gained five pounds and spikes of bone burst from their skin, exploding outwards, impaling their lungs and their stomach and their eyes and any loved one who stood too close-)

How do you even do knee joints- (His knees snap as he moves, as he sits. They snap, and crinkle, and her kneecaps splinter out through his jeans, staining them red-)

There's some minor clipping- (Her dress is moving through her, sliding under her skin, a rasp of sequins against her raw muscle-)

This is the first time I've tried repoing anything and I think I unlinked a texture- (Now her dress is her skin, now she is the dress, a distorted thing, tanned flesh and buttons, and a zipper where she used to have a spine, her breasts are flat and distended, and lacy-)

Maybe I'll learn how to do shoe swaps, first- (His feet-)

Actually im not gonna shut up about this simmerkate charging 25 pounds for a tutorial on how to make arguably the easiest piece of cc one could make (clutter, decor, non functional decorative shit) is making me shake from anger

Its literally 1-import mesh into blender 2- import Blender fileand Textures into package 3- save and add to game

There that line i just wrote appearantly is worth 25 dollars in her opinion

This is a call to anyone that has done a sims 4 cc tutorial for free in the past, the only way to nip this in the bud is for sll of us to refurbish/ rewrite/update those tutorials and put them out for free again please do this of you have an old tutorial sitting there collecting dust.

Also free cc creators this is the time to put what you know into tutorial form snd publish it. Please dont gatekeep as that mskes it possible for people like simmerkate to scam people for the simplest things.

Im so tierd of this im so sick of it if i could finish writing the tutorials im writing in 5 mins and publish them i would cause wtf is this...
