I dont like needlessly punishing my ocs, mind you, i find that uninteresting. However, I like consequences and I like when those consequences make sense.

Leo is like the epitome of suffering oc if only bc it makes sense. This is a man who is out to set an entire ingrained culture for charr bc its incredibly war mongering and creates a very toxic cycle. Someone doesnt just...even attempt to do that and come out completely unscathed. Its hard, and then being in the thick of the dragon battle against nature wars, and constantly being someone seeing conflict first hand while trying to preserve his own sense of empathy/care and Continue to keep his own original motive going while literally sacrificing his own happiness forever and ever bc hes choosing to put his goals before his own needs. LITERALLY the only thing he will set it aside for are his adopted daughters. And theyre living their own lives. My reasoning for making him own as balls is simply a consequence from taking in otherwordly dragon magic and postponing natural death, and maybe, maybe even reworking his original deal with grenth bc what is more torturous than giving the guy who respects death than preventing him from it...

I like the idea that leo will still be old as balls kicking around in gw3 just bc I think it would add to his ongoing forever torment nexus and thats fun to me. Leo is like odysseus 2 me iykwim

I love the fact that leo is a tribune for a variety reasons but mostly bc he doesnt fit the standard idea of what a tribune Looks or acts like

1.Hes noticably short

2. He has what would be considered widely different opinions on the current state of charr's militaristic culture he is like. Charr far far left

3. Gnc

4. The youngest

5. A magic user, a necromancer at that

Leo managing to aquire the rank of a Tribune is something that is supposed to be surprising and whispered about throughout the black and blood citadels. Everyone has their opinions or theories but the Reason he was given that rank was for Bangar's own ultieror motives to keep tract of a serious threat to power (the pact commander) through someone from his own legion who happened to be at the right place at the right time, continuously. Leo of course still demands respect for his position, but i always kind of chuckle to myself bc he is noticably still such a black sheep of tribunes.

I like the idea that leo's griffon passed away helping defend the sunspear sanctuary but its spirit and desire to protect was so strong it stayed instead of passing on but was near intangible to anyone outside of those with strong connections to spectral energy (leo) so he attempts to help it move on but fails in doing so. It sees Leo defending the sanctuary from another attack, long story short it agrees to move on but only after helping protect more people alongside leo so when he dies it'll move on too so he is able to make its apperance more tangible through his own necromancy :] there we go,,,

I perused the skins ill never own bc can imagine and im really feeling any of these

Its sooo selfish its soo hypocritical. I can see it clearly, Leo explaining the natural cycle of life, how death is integral, inevitable, and necessary. He explains that anythjng trying to escape its natural cycle is a blight, its wrong, it should not be done. And then he says, but should a time come where you are at the mists door, this is how you do it. Im going to teach you how to escape. Do not make me watch you, do not make me see you break what I hold so dear, but do it anyway because you are my daughter.

Btw I like thinking about the hypocrisy of Leo hating anything that circumvents the natural cycle of Life and Death, and yet in quiet when no one is watching, teaching Aurene about the things that could allow her to do this as he explains that cycle to her, especially as a Necromancer himself.

Like, heres this thing I hate so deeply and find disgusting but I will show my daughter a way to avoid death if she ever needs to. <- selfish btw

Its okay if gw3 has a timeskip bc I can have it so that due to all the spectral magic leo takes in he lives to be old as balls and hes just a really grumpy old man waiting to die which is comedic to me
