hi i’m so sorry but i must know.... what is the origin of the billy is tiffany’s dad theory ? i tried scrolling thru ur oiler fam tag but i couldn’t find anything !

ok so here’s the recap from years ago: in the art of ooo - the adventure time art book that came out in 2014 and contains lots of concept art - there’s concept art of what is contextually presumed to be tiffany, labelled “tiffany -> billy’s son” 

from this it can be assumed at one point they must have been thinking of exploring it in some capacity or something. its not something that ever comes up in the show, comics, or the distant lands specials (yet?) so whether or not it’s canon is dubious. but tiffany’s origins are largely unexplored, nothing actually contradicts it so far, and i think it makes sense for his character - so although it’s not explicitly canon it’s something i use for my own work exploring tiffany’s character until something comes up that would make it explicitly noncanon.
