Hannibal :this show is actually so complex with alot of symbolism and meaning you have to find out what it actually means.

Fannibals: this show is a dark romcom about two mentally ill gays , who lowkey (High key) fuck up everyone around them lives, oh and a man gets stuffed inside a horse….but mostly about the gays.

and what if all these random conventions are happening now for them to test the waters and see if the fandom is still active to prove to a platform it will be watched??? then what, like has anyone thought of this being a possible way for this to be the beginning of a renewal?? because the show hasn't been aired in so long they can't take the stats from back then, they'd have to show evidence of an active fandom for a viewership and know if it would be worth it financially speaking

look, it may not be a s4 announcement, but can we all take a moment to bask in the awe of the fact that there is so much love for this show and these characters that there is a reunion panel 10 years later?!?!? and that so many people are there?!?!? talking about a show that’s ten years old?!?!? with the two lead actors who also love the show!!!!!!! it’s wild honestly.

Oh God, I really hope that the massive attention the Hannibal 2024 Reunion with Mads & Hugh has received would finally attract a network's attention and give Hannibal its new home.

We didn’t get a S4 announcement, but you know what the absolute best thing about today’s C2E2 Hannibal panel truly was? 

For the first time since the show ended, Fannibals showed how profitable Hannibal can still be. 

C2E2 sold out of their remaining VIP ticket packages with guaranteed panel seating within 48 hours of the reunion announcement. Paid PopVerse subscriptions to stream the panel spiked with previously untapped demos (if socials are anything to go by). The largest event hall at C2E2 was overcapacity 45 minutes before the panel; while that’s normal for cons like SDCC and NYCC, in my experience that’s less common at C2E2.

Not to mention Mads and Hugh making bank with autograph and photo-op sales; a huge component of drawing in good talent to table at cons as well, making sure they make enough over the weekend to justify their presence beyond panel appearances. From a talent booking/event management perspective, this is the absolute dream scenario.

So, here’s the super fun part: ReedPop, the company that owns C2E2, also owns/operates New York Comic Con (NYCC), one of the highest-profile US entertainment conventions after San Diego Comic-Con. Now that ReedPop is aware of the viability of Hannibal programming, it would be extremely surprising if RP didn’t attempt a run at a larger, proper reunion panel at NYCC.

Honestly, great job, team. 2024 could very well be the year we get real buzz going again!

When Mads and Hugh started talking about the scenes in 'The Wrath of the Lamb' they could have asked what they think could have happened in the hours between the scenes when Hannibal & Will arrived at the cliff house when there's still daylight and then that wine scene when it was already dark. Well, Bryan said "Well, they did change clothes" *wink wink* but it would've been nice to know what would be Mads and Hugh's headcanon for that as well 😂😭

The fact that Mads and Hugh KNOW what happened post fall makes me feral. I like that they are keeping it secret in case it gets rebooted BUT IF IT DOESN’T I NEED THEM TO REVEAL WHAT HAPPENS. At that point I NEED TO KNOW.

Oh how badly I want to interview them with a billion questions about post fall.
