Random thoughts: why are people so pissed about the padel thing? Like it's not even that deep guys. My honest THOUGHTS? The reason he even considered and accepted going to play padel at that event is because he was playing with Charles. And i'm not even kidding. They are not close friends or anything but you can't deny Max truly enjoys the moments he spends in his company and it's different from when he is with his friends, as he sees Charles on very very few occasions outside the paddock. Look at that first padel game and how their relationship seemed 100 times friendlier and closer just from that moment alone. There's no way he would have woke up at 7:30 in the morning to play padel with George Russell or even his friends Lando or Alex Albon, like no way. During the day, totally, but not that early in the morning. In the end he slept in as it's normal but if the people invited to play with him were others, he wouldn't have even accepted or considered going in the first place. Good night :)

WHAT THE FUCK MONA WHAT THE FUUUUCK I feel like most of us were still in the middle of assessing if we're gonna get any lestappen crumbs during the winter break and then BAM WHOLEASS LESTAPPEN PADEL DATE! ON STREAM! WHAT THE FUCK

I think I'm still not used to the way lestappen relationship changed during the autumn??? I was like yeah yeah those were race weekends, they interacted a lot of course because the circumstances were favourable for this ect ect

they managed to spend 1 weekend away from each other. ONE (1) WEEKEND. and then idk decided it doesn't feel right to not have any sport competition with each other for yet another sunday in a row??? they are fucking insane they are ill and I support them

Max and Charles have become so co-dependent since their first (official) padel date that the mere thought of spending an entire winter break without seeing each other is too much for either of them to handle.

They are absolutely insane about each other and I am so here for every step of it.

I really know this is coming someday in the future, that is clear. I also know that they will wait for a really special or significative year because i think this one will be one of the most meaningful and important helmet swaps of their career, if not the most.
