We've broken two backup claws in the process of making them. We'll probably try again tomorrow.

Our team has been very active over our winter break! We've completely restructured our robot, to include a fold out ramp, and bigger arm. Now that the claw is made out of plastic, we've reduced a lot of weight from our design. Unfortunately, our weight distribution is centered on the front. Hopefully after we add metal sheeting to the ramp the back will become heavier.

This is the net we have to make. Helene calculated the dimensions with Math CAD.

The claw without the protective covering. We need to make some of the measurements smaller, to prevent the rings from moving around too much.

Here is the prototype of our claw. It's pretty messy, and there are a lot of mistakes, but it's functional for now.

These are the sensors that I posted in CAD earlier.

I didn't finish it in thirty minutes like I said, but I did finish the claw. The gold circles and black rectangles are the weight sensors I posted earlier.
