when i was doing my internship a few months ago i also got a glimpse into a sports editorial department of a local tv station, which was very interesting & exciting but i also saw how men (grown ups with children) still talk about women (in sports & in general), even when women are present? not gonna elaborate but it was really disappointing.

also, one of them actually raised the question whether kevin trapp is a good captain because of his clothing partnership with aboutyou and other players 'would not take him seriously because of that'. and that genuinely baffled me because that man is also a tv host of a fairly known local football show & he just gets to say those things?? the personal advertising a player does has nothing to do with his performance on the pitch? and also nearly all players have other things, brands for example, going on besides football?? so why would that be a problem? (its a problem because trapp is a man & he advertises fashion. which is. you know. unmanly. smh.)
