Entry #1: I snuck below deck, if the rest of the crew knows I’m writing in a journal I’ll never hear the end of it. But our adventures need to be written down, our stories need to be shared. I guess I should introduce myself. Hi! I’m Jackson Blacklaw but you can just call me Rumhead (long story). I’m sure it’s clear by my grammar and vocabulary that I’m not like other pirates. That’s because well, I’m not. I grew up quite blessed and was able to go to college. My parents really wanted me to become a politician. One day as I was studying down by the docks a group of pirates raided my city, they saw me and thought it’d be funny to kidnap me. While on their ship another pirate crew decided to attack them, during all the commotion I broke free and attempted to escape, the captain tried stopping me but I ended up taking him out (it was all luck). It was the most free I had felt in a really long time. The attacking pirate crew was very impressed by me and they let me take the oath and join their crew. And that’s how I became part of the GOLDEN DANCE PIRATES!!!! One day I’ll give you a rundown of the entire crew, but I don’t have enough time right now. However one thing I’ll say is that the Golden Dance Pirates is the greatest pirate crew in all of the seven seas. Full of merry people who don’t do things because of greed or evil but instead because they love the sea, freedom and adventure. Soon you’ll learn that not all pirates are bad but some just love having fun. I have so many incredible stories to share but Captain Shuffle is calling me, I think we’re at our destination! WOOHOO TIME TO BE A PIRATE!!
