I too am a 5foot woman. Constantly being mistaken for a teenager (if not younger ew wtf, I’m 23) and as a grown adult woman, I too have sexual interests.

So I wonder if before major fame or just in general how much she’s had to deal with ppl thinking she’s a kid or not taken her seriously. Maybe that’s why she has taken on this hyper sexual hyper fem aesthic

I think it’s ok to not be comfortable around children. Ok to not want to caretake or babysit and want to be in adult only spaces

That being said children are just young people. They are humans, who have a right to be in public and shared spaces (restaurant, theatre, plane)

They can be annoying sure but if you’re reading this you have once been a child yourself lmao. Cut them some slack and learn to chill imo

That’s literally crazy, I was also home schooled and then private schooled, and then public schooled freshman year!

i just wanted to say, something that really stuck out to me when watching the pilot was how much i related to aika in the specific way of. she’s so so happy to be in school. i know in her case it’s related to her time as a magical girl stopping her from having a normal life before, and it’s presented from what i could tell pretty lightheartedly, but it really really resonated with me in a way. i was homeschooled k-12, all my life, and it’s set me back behind my peers in many ways, but i hope to be finally be to go to college this fall and get the support and education and normal life i never got the chance to have before, and when i watched aika be so excited about going to her new high school in the pilot, i felt really really seen. thank you

I'm so glad! That was based my own experience being homeschooled and then being thrown into 8th grade. BIG culture shock hahaha. I was also a little smartypants like Aika, because my mom was actually a really good teacher and I was pretty ahead (leading me to skip a grade). But then being the youngest and also not as socially aware as my peers made me feel a bit behind. It definitely heightened my sense of wonder though! I feel like I'm a very easy to impress person and even now there's a ton of aspects to the world that feel so exciting and new to me

This is rough, have any advice on not fucking killing myself?

I know there are a lot of people thinking about killing themselves right now. I felt the exact same way in 2016 when he first got elected.

This is a bad thing, but to anyone having these types of thoughts, please don't do anything that can't be undone. This is the last term he can be be inaugurated, after these 4 years, or hopefully less, he will be gone. It's difficult to stay positive right now, and that's okay. You don't have to stay positive, it's okay to feel these emotions as they are. But please do not commit suicide, because if you do, you won't be able to feel any emotions ever again.

Even though I felt hopeless at the time, I am so glad that I didn't kill myself in 2016.

For my own sake, I really need the people who are upset with this election to stay alive with me

GRADIENTS of genre. think about this before you make a 200 song ship playlist that includes both maroon 5 and mitski. Think on it
