take yourself out to dinner, go on a picnic, allow yourself to be alone, talk to strangers, pour yourself a drink and queue Netflix, pet dogs and ask about them, tell all the dogs that they’re the best, cry when you need to, bake a pie, light some candles and have a relaxing bath, let it go to voicemail if you need to, take a walk, leave your phone at home when you can, smile at people and wave at kids and most importantly, know that it’s okay to feel this way.
